Carthage was a somewhat-powerful, particularly economically as we all know, city-state prior to the Punic Wars that destroyed them. They controlled parts of the North African coast, up to Morocco in the west and the modern-day borders of Egypt in the east. Historically they gained control of these areas because they had been Phoenician colonies (and Carthage was settled/founded by a group of Phoenicians). They even had spheres of influence in parts of Sicily, the Balearics, and had a sizeable colony on the Iberian peninsula.

But no, I'm calling it Carthage because there was no name change and the city was never destroyed in this history. So there was no need to erect a new one and have it called a different name.

I really really really love this NES. I mean, I practically worship you Kamilian (in the same way others tend to worship Das). However, because of time constraints with my new NES I have to quit this NES after being in it for 8 months since first joining CFC. Could you please at least keep Israel reserved for me until I can come back? If you can't that's OK. G-d, I really hate to have to leave this.
