Update 11 - 1400 BCE
Byzantine merchants got lost on the way back to Byzantium with the revenue from the Rome-Byzantium trade route. The merchants were last seen somewhere between Leopolis and Byzantium. Their whereabouts, and those of the money gained from the trade, are unknown.
Instances of banditry increase throughout the Byzantine provinces. Members of the Slav, Greek, and Macedonian parliaments, in particular, are demanding that the Emperor approve funding for building new roads or all the taxes we pay generously will be forever lost in the forests and mountains.
BYZANTIUM: No benefit from the Rome-Byzantium trade route; -1 Economy Level
Dacia has lost Serbia! The Serbian soldiers have beaten back the Dacians, fortified the province, and effectively broken away from the Dacian Empire. The soldiers are now looking westward to Dalmatia as the new leaders of their province. Travel has indeed increased exponentially between Dalmatia and the Serbian Province, and Dalmatian troops no longer watch the border with Serbia as if an attack could happen at any moment. The ball is in the Dalmatian court now either annex Serbia or turn its back on the Serbs.
The Slovak Army has crossed into East Slovakia on a mission of liberation. Battles between the Slovaks and East Slovak rebels and the Dacians have almost always been in favor of the Slavs. Looks like East Slovakia will also be lost by Dacia.
The separatist factions in Galicia have taken over the rebellion. In the small town of Lwow, a council of Galician rebel leaders, with guests from East Slovakia and Serbia, convened and resolved to fight for independence, not autonomy. The Galician populace supports them fully, and massacres have occurred of the Dacian troops as revenge for the repression when the Army first entered the province.
In Sarmizetegusa, the Dacian capital, riots are occurring demanding that something be done to stop the food shortages and economic collapse that are stemming from the disorder. Many of the farms in the Dacian countryside, having been worked on primarily by Slavic slaves, are destroying or hoarding the harvests.
DACIA: -200 Loyalist troops; -150 Rebel troops; -2 Economy Levels; -1 Confidence level
The Baalist Plague finally ends its death toll on all 3 countries which it had consumed. In the Mameluke Kingdom, the end was brought on by successful quarantines of the sick, as well as the fact that some people miraculously got sick but survived and were no longer affected by it again. Though there were still deaths, the plague is over.
MAMELUKE KINGDOM: -500 people
The Arabs continue their occupations over the Babylonian and Israelite lands. In Babylonia, they invade further with disregard for any law and order. They will soon be upon the capital.
In Israel, some tribes are seduced by Israelite concubines and promises of riches if they stop their marauding. The tribes that are convinced by these promises end their rampages and settle down, primarily east of the Israelite capital, Jerusalem. They have sworn to end their violent ways if the Israelites let them stay.
Other Arabs are not so easily swayed. An attack on Jerusalem from the south was repelled by the Israelite army, but with a sizeable death toll on the Israelites.
However, the aggressive Arabs that occupy southern Israel are pretty spread-out in the occupied area. Most have left Israel and launched their invasion of the Mameluke Kingdom, which though no longer suffers the Baalist Plague, has been terribly weakened. The Arabs have a field day invading the Mameluke lands, and the capital, Cairo, was easily occupied, the King killed. At the moment, the Mameluke Kingdom is without any central authority and under Arab occupation. Could it be that the Arabs will be its next rulers?
BABYLONONIA: -700 troops
ISRAEL: -300 troops
MAMELUKE KINGDOM: -720 troops

Portuguese battles with the Fez Sultanate have been unsuccessful due to the Fez soldiers more extensive knowledge of the areas and the anti-Portugalian sabotage initiated by Berber tribes. The Fez Sultanate thus is able to expand more. Some Berber soldiers have also defected to the Fez army.

FEZ: +250 troops (from Portugalia)
The Illini have managed to liberate their land from the Sioux.
ILLINOIS: -600 troops

Afghanistan and Pakistan separate. The border between the two is somewhat-tentative, as there are pockets of Afghanists on the Pakistani side as well as Yuhahist pockets on the Afghani side.
Negotiations begin between Fuzhou and Shanghai to unite their countries. The reason for this is unknown but there is speculation that the two have grown weary of the Nihonese Empire.
Malaysia begins expanding its own empire, establishing the trade port of Chittagong. Roads are also begun to be built through the Malaysian jungles.

Orders have not been received from Jason, Sheep, and Finmaster.
Finmaster, you did get acknowledged from your story, but a story and diplo with no orders doesnt do much update-wise.
Sheep, your orders were way too late and thus not accepted.
Toteone, I honestly dont think you put continue wonder, and thats why it wasnt increased last time. I am making it mandatory, not just to be safe anymore, that you have to say to continue the wonder. If it was my mistake, I do apologize.
But in any case, you were telling me about it the day before deadline/update. By then I had already deleted the PM that had your orders! Do not wait until the last day to notify me of an error or something. Please. I delete PM orders a day after the update. So if you PM orders, your time to complain or make note of errors is then, not the day before update. Unless you still have your PM from the previous turn, there is no proof that the project should have been made 2/3 last update.
This goes to everyone: Tell me about any errors or complaints within a day after the update. Then I will be glad to and when it comes to PMs, I will actually be able to - look into it and I will fix the errors of there are any. Do not wait until a day before the next deadline. By then, I will only change it if you have solid proof (you still have the PM or the orders were done on the thread in the first place) and even then with a very heavy heart. It is among the most irritating things, honestly, to be approached by someone just before (figuratively) the update saying you didnt do this. Please make any error-notifications and complaints within a day of the update. It saves me a lot of nerves, doesnt make you look like a whiner to me, and makes it harder for me to hurt your country but easier to give your country good random events.
Update will be on Wednesday. Orders are due Wednesday morning by 10:00 AM Central Time Zone US. After that time, I will no longer accept orders and/or order-changes, since I will be doing the update offline throughout the day.
