Regeneration In Process
OOC: Okaaaaaaaaaay. But you tell me whom do I have contact with. Deal?
IC:
Warriors of Babylon and warriors of Assyria clashed in the Fertile Crescent. With bronze spears, with copper shields and armor, they clashed in a bloody battle. Assyrians came out victorious. But with more casualties. That was the nature of this war in the north, while the Sumerians advanced with little trouble in the south.
Shamshiadad sighed. Sumerians were doing far too good then he thought they will. Hopefully the Babylonians will be distracted by them now...
A messanger rushed to him at his camp.
"Shamshiadad, Son of the Gods and Ruler of the Assyrians!" - he yelled - "News came - the Babylonians are marching towards Nineveh!"
"What?" - Shamshiadad was confused, then angered. He never cared too much for Nineveh, but there were Assyrian people there. His people. - "How many?"
"Fifty men, oh King of Assyria!"
"Our new forces are to fight them off. Also we should train more warriors - we will need them now."
Orders:
- 100 men to attack Babylonians marching towards Nineveh. Tactics: split into four equal groups, one is to try and cut them off from Babylon, the rest are to help encircle them and then all are to charge. We will thus have both numerical and psychological advantage, as encircled enemies often fight worse.
- 100 men to continue to press on along the Tigris.
- Grow army.
- Continue wonder (4/6).
Timeline:
2900 B.C.
Chinese forces subjugate the surrounding Chinese tribes, some with diplomacy, some by force. Imperian army grows twice, and begins to conquer the surrounding lands. However due to the strain on economy, they almost get into recession. Japanese meet the Ainu barbarians, meanwhile they also start building their great temple. Assyrians meet Babylon, which falls into depression around this time, and the Sumerian city states. Minoan fleet appears, which establishes the colony of Troy in western Asia Minor. Followers of the Cross faith, the Crusaders, migrate from Italy to Gaul where they settle near Rhine. Calicutians also start grand expansion and first encounter elephants. Novgorodian, Muscovite and Kievan Rus start expanding quickly enough, though Muscovites are the fastest so far. They are also the first in the world to build roads. Ramses unites Egyptian kingdoms into one. British meet the Welsh and expand to several directions. Etruscan raids attack the territories of Rome.
2800 B.C.
Chinese tribes increase resistance to forceful unification, but to no avail. True diplomatic intrigue is born in Mesopotamia, as Assyria and Babylon negotiate their future border while Assyria first offers an alliance to Sumeria AGAINST Babylon. Nothing came out of it for the while, though king Ur-Naptal begisn a war to unite Sumeria, which should give him much power as each of the three Sumerian free cities is very developed. Imperians encounter Egypt and Babylon. Rise of civilization in the Middle East, influented by the many diverse and growing culturs of the region, stimulates the creation of new independant kingdoms and civilizations - Nabatea, Phoenica and Armenia. Second Minoan colony is built - Kyrennica in Africa, not far away from Egypt. Egyptians put down the Nomian rebellion. Hittites fail to conquer Trebizond, but score several victories near it. Gauls, original people of Gaul, collapse into numerous tribes, all rather hostile towards the Crusaders. Calicut becomes the largest country of the world. Romans defeat and expel Etruscans.
Rest comes later. Okay?
