Update 7 - 2400 B.C.
War continues in China, as the Chinese attack almost everything in their sights. China sends two of it's armies to occupy the lans around the Wuwei, however this goes wrong. As they were already attacking the Wuwei, the Wuwei excpected a full out assault from the center and responded with one of their own. With the Chinese troops being split in two, the Wuwei army wreaks havoc on the Chinese supply lines. The only bright spot for the Chinese is that Wuwei city is now relatively undefended. On the other side of their kingdom the Chinese attack Liaotung, but this proves costly as well. Not only does Liaotung have an army as large as the Chinese (although technically inferior), they had been building fortifications for years. Although the Chinese manage to break through, it is at a very heavy cost. The Chinese generals had greatly overextended themselves, and this is proven elsewhere as well. The state of Wu is able to expand with a large army all the way to the Chinese border, while the unaccounted for state of Shu launches a direct assault on China proper, nearing the gates of Peking itself.
Casualties: 175 Chinese, 25 Wuwei, 125 Liaotung, 25 Shu
Farther east, the politics of the Japanese are in sharp contrast to the wars of the Chinese. The Japanese navy and army is increased peacefully, while the ronin in Shikoku are utterly destroyed. The Tokyo temple nears completion, as an exploring expedition is sent westward. After many months of travel it finally lands on a desolate piece of land and establishes a colony. It only takes a short while before the Choson people are encountered.
The Mesopotamian wars are over. After a prolonged battle outside Babylon itself, the Assyrians breach the majestic cities walls and slaughter anyone who dares resist. In the South, the Sumerians kill off what remains of the Babylonian forces. The Assyrians recieve Babylon and the surrounding areas for one economy level to Sumer, but even with this aid Sumer is severely crippled. The recent war has left it weaker than it has ever been.
Casualties: 75 Babylonians, 75 Assyrians, 50 Sumerians
Minoa continues to thrive without any threat of war. The colony of Carchedon is established, but since it's so far away, it grows somewhat slowly. Minoan merchants begin to trade with their Hittite neighbors, with caravans carrying mostly olives for hittite perfume. In Knossos, a genius by the name of Daedalus makes Minoa the most advanced civilization in the world, and upon his death the King decides to make a great workshop in his honor. In his lifetime, Deadelus's most significant accomplishment was the upgrading of the Minoan navy from galleys to triemes. Dozens of Minona geniuses have, upon order from the king, tried to expand on his work. In the Norht, an alliance is struck with the two Southernmost Dacian and Thracian tribes, who with Minoan help begin to subjugate their kin.
In Britian, the Britons continue to expand Northward. They are fearful of a Welsh attack, but none come. Instead the Welsh focus on peacefully advancing their own nation, soon reaching the same level of development as the Britons themselves. To the North however, the warlike Picts are discovered.
In Hatti, the mural of Hattusas is completed, sending the Hittite civilization to the new heights. With the increase in education and the secret of chariotry, the Hittites easily reach the Iron Age, and even devellop a type of chariotry far more advanced than that of the Minoans. The heavy chariot is far more effective in warfare, and is only known to the Hittites. With the newly wheeled army, the Hittites make great bursts of expansion. They encounter the Armenians in their travels, and finlly establish a land border with their Minoan allies. An expedition to the North has established a small colony in a land known as Scythia, while simutaneously opening up contact with the civilization of Crimea.
In Persia, the nation is reawakened under the wise rule of Shah Cyrus. The army is increased and a great new expedition is launched... across the great gulf. Well this is rather difficult without any navy, so the only thing the Persians are able to do is establish a few settlements along the coast, but without any military there they can't expand.
In the lands of the Crusaders, the civilized men beat back the Gauls even further. Though not quite eradicating them, one can sense that the Gauls are on the verge of death. However a great explosion of barbarians occurs in Europe, and now there are even more Gauls all around them. Not necessarily opposed to the Crusaders, they live peacefully alongside them.
Casualties: 25 Crusaders
In Russia, the Rus grow to own the largest empire in the world. With the completion of a recent wonder, Russians all over the Tzar's domains rush to the East in order to expand. So ferocious is this onslaught of Russian settlers that not only is Russian territory doubled, the state of Novgorod is absorbed into Russia almost overnight, as is a part of their economy and army. However, the Balts have united into the confederation of greater Baltica, posing a threat to Russian expansion to the West.
Rome reawakens. With the start of a new wonder and the complete destruction of the Etruscans, Rome manages to expand in both directions significantly. However, Imperial scouts have reported to Espacius that many different barbarian tribes have arisen all around them. The Illyrians, Helvetians, Celts, and Iberians are the most near to them, and pose the greatest threat. Already a few tribes of the warlike Celts have raided some Northern Roman olive fields.
In the lands of Imperium, monotheism flourishes. Even today, people are mystified to the exact origins of the one-god religions, but some things are known for sure. The Jews believed in a people like them in a land to the West, and the Imperians believed in a people like them in a land to the East. For a while bhoth sides lived easily with each other, the Jews taking up residence in the lands South of Jerusalem, but conflict soon arose. The Jews argued that if they worshipped the same god, then the Imperians should renounce "Him" and accept the Jewish god
