Domestic Update
The Furrians begin construction of a grand road. Firstly, it will link the new mountains with the cities. New mines are being built, and this is giving accesses to a small amount of iron, not enough to supply an army though. Then, this road also links the southern end of the Furrian flatlands. This makes transporting good easier from the Thulean colony. This road has provided many benefits.

The Indicans have began building roads like madmen as well. Their project finishes, and the government builds more. Their lands are connected very well and the roads in high quality. The only thing lacking are ports...

The Shaitae had taked many anti-rebellious measures. And it worked for a while too. But when the Nandi took the vital road system, and held it, the support didnt get to the areas. The Rebellion soon sprang up... (see millitary events)
Maps are bought from the Habalan and the Fhou empire in the North. Both are very large, but they dont have their fair share of problems...
To begin with, the Fhou are very old and extreme xenophobs. Their land is very cold. Extremely cold in the North in fact. So cold, virtually nothing grows their, and only in immediate vicinity of the river will the food grow. Because of this, there isnt a huge amount of people, but they are an old people. Their known technology includes iron, and this powder that explodes when ignited. They are also fiercely patriotic.
Habalan isn't quite as old, or as advanced, but they make up for it in sheer numbers. It is quite rainy in the select parts, so large crops can be maintained. Alot of people live in the towns and cities as well, which makes manufactored goods easy to obtain. But, they aren't as xenophobic, but have their internal problems. Especially as of late.... (see millitary events)
Millitary Events
Quite alot of blood. Blame barbarians. They come in all shapes and sizes. They seem fearless, and their numbers staggering. They win almost all of their battles, and lay waste to enemy armies. Will this end, will the cradle survive, or old civilizations be uprooted, and moved? We can only wait, and hope.
Despite the ramblings of barbarians, lets start with something different. Thulian and Furrian adventurers are always going south, but they actually found something worth talking about this time. A nation that calls itself "Coruscant" inhabits a flatland below a small mountain chain. The climate there is very wet. The Coruscantians inhabit a large swamp area, and jungle. They have a radically different culture than anything ever seen by the Northerners. But nevertheless, they are thriving in recent years. They are seafarers as well, having a small land peice on a far off island.even. The future does look bright for Coruscant.

Now, to the numerous barbarian wars. In the west to begin with.
The Athling have finally unleashed themselves. A small Fennian battalion was in their colony, guarding it. It was like most other days, uneventful. Only by the coast was there some trading activity. This was about to change for theese soilders. I bet they wished they were still bored.
The Athling hordes suddenly swept in from the west. The far west of the colony was overran in days. The fight continued to the coast. They were all slaughtered, nothing left alive or useable.
This wasnt enough for the Athling. They invaded North into Nyria. Before this though, Nyria had tried to come to the aid of the Fennians, launching a counter invasion. It made good gains, until most men had to pull back to stop the push into Nyria. They have lost quite a bit, and need some help to live..

Let's go South shall we.
The Heeti had a tiny army to work with, and were being devoured by the Honutu and Nandi assaults. It looked like the end was going to come. But the people took up arms, and horses. A new branch of army was developed, Pathri Heavy Calvary. It was a fearsome weapon. The barbarians meanwhile kept their relenletous push forward. They were very close to the capitol, destroy anything in their path. Then, the Heavy Calvary broke the Nandi front, and swarmed in the holes in their attack. The Nandi began to retreat en masse. It was too late, and the Heeti charged on them. They have made large gains into the Nandi, if at costs.
The Honutu wern't quite as easy to crack. The heavy calvary proved to slow after the surprise effect was gone. Their heavy scale mail left them targets for faster Honutu horses. The Heeti countered this with their own light horsemen. The Honutu have been steadily pushed back, a few still remaining in Heeti lands. This was the worst front for the Heeti in terms of causlties.
But, to the Heeti jubilation, the Kalari have invaded the Northern Honutu. This has taken pressure of the Heeti, which was greatly needed. Their inexperience at fighting horse wasn't a great asset, giving them some losses. They did luck out as their was barely anyone up there.

The Nandi also launched a small invasion of the Shaitia, cutting off their western lands by taking the vital road. This has caused some unfortunate events..
The lack of contact with the old Suri'Ati lands has caused them to rise up. The Shaitae expected this, but they also expected nothing else to go wrong. The rebellion came on full force when no reinforcements from the Jeh were received. It has gripped an agricultural peice of land, and fighting will destroy it. The Suri'Ati wont give up easy, they refuse to be wiped out like the Kurthians.

Habalan was going to flex its muslces, and strain them. They wasted no time into launching a campaign into the Shirazi lands. For a little while, it was largely uneventful. Most coastal lands had no barbarians there. Then, the push inland was the real trouble. The barbarians wern't going to give an inch. The Habanese had no experience fighting horsemen, and didnt have any themselves. This made the kill:death ratio enormous in the death side. The Habalanese kept pushing, drawing some reserves, from the border guard. They have gained alot of land from the Shirazi. But a huge benefit factor was the Jeh. They had invaded the Shirazi, to keep the cradle alive. They were astounding, it seemed as if they knew every Shirazi tactic by heart. Even lacking hoeses, the Jeh scored victory, after victory. They have made huge gains, and from relentless Habalanese attacks, the Shirazi manpower seems to be all but depleted.

The Habalanese also had another problem on their hands, a peaseant revolt. Long had the peasents in the Eastern fringe lands been ignored because of few roads linking it with the empire, or the low class people living there. A charismatic leader takes his chance to try and make a quick buck, or forge his own nation. Nevertheless, it spread like wildfire in the East, taking most of the fringe farmland areas and 3 major cities. The garrison has been smashed, and the rebellion is nearing the capitol. Can they stop the rebellion and save their empire?
