Why? You have tons of old world countries, but 3 new world ones, none of which are in N. America. I think it's only fair.

i don't want ANY new world country.
I don't suggest being Russia (cause there are no slavs in the area at all, actualy there are no people there...)
Be a country in where you see there are people... don't forget Russians are slavs, that migrated into there... In this world the migration didn't happand, yet.

It'd be sort of odd that while they have lived near their chinese nieghbors for some time, they have no culture and no education.

The ingredients for gunpowder are everywhere, the earliest gunpowder was a mix of a substance scraped off of dried out poop called saltpeter and ground charcoal both of which can be easily obtained and manufactured

The Trueians, key educators now of the nation of Lusitania as anyone of intellectual skill has adopted the principles of Pedro Tremon, are now sending missionaries with the Lusitanian armies so that the Barbarians may learn the Way and become enlightened as well.
The result should be that after battles, Celtic leaders and wise men will be more apt to assimilate into Lusitanian society, and be willing to work productively and smartly. General sentiment among Trueians is that should the leader of Lusitania adopt these teachings himself as well, the assimilation will happen much faster.
