stNNES7: Worlds and Empires

Heh. I know you're liable to go into convulsions when you hear this--but the update's being left for tomorrow. I have other obligations to fulfill tonight and I don't think my parent's will approve of me staying up half the night, much as I wish to--believe me, this isn't out of lack of interest--especially since I have two exams left. However, school gets out at 11:45 tomorrow, which means between then and drivers ed at 5 I have 5 hours to finish this thing. if that's not enough time, then something's wrong. ;)

Like I said, don't worry, this is a school day - and this problem probably won't come up again for a LONG time. :)

Ah well, real life's a biotch ain't it?

That it is. This does give you all an opportunity to write stories though... :mischief:

I must have missed those nations in the listing. My apologies, I'll change to somewhere else. Just give me a minute to decide where and edit this post.

then something's wrong.

It is already wrong, NK. I hope that as soon as you come back you start working on the update, though first you should find some weapon (I preffer a semi-fake curved sword) and threaten or kill anyone who tries to distract you while updating with it. Remember - the way you make the first update often determines if the NES will be succesful or not.

Hmm... much of the old cast is here... Did Contempt and Alex join yet?

North king!

Due to wishes made by a certain person, I'd like to change my civ and my starting position.

I'm playing the sicilian empire but I'd change to the to the Xiong Nu.

Xiong Nu
Ruler/Player: Modu/Naziassbandit

Government: Tribal Council
Category: Moderator it is up to you
Religion: Polytheism
Economy: Stable
Army: 2,000 spearmen, 1,000 archers
Navy:
Education: Lost Cause
Culture: Barbaric
UU:
Wonders:

The Xiong Nu are a vicious, barbaric horse people, a every day threat to the Chinese in the south. The Xiong nu are a pastoral mobile steppe people, their warfare is based upon cavalry and horse archers.

Hmm... Arsacid Egypt? Sure thing, we will even grant you right of passage for that noble goal. ;)

Armenia will just have to conquer Egypt... dun dun dun

woudl be interesting if the Hittites managed to that (and while obviouslly not the hittites, they're in the same general region, and they make me think of one another)

Xen, Armenians are different, they called themselves the Hayq (the Hike?), so they aren't very Hittite. Oh, and they have a funny accent that is hard to reproduce in a language that is not Russian, so I naturally would love to see an Armenian Egypt. ;)
Don't conquer, me... please.. MERCY!!

You DO realize that by saying that you remind people that you exist, right? :p

I know now. Problem is, when you're telling everybody that, they are more likely to remember about your existance and many of them are likely to conquer you as soon as they could. So, basically, by saying that you exist before you have a huge army, you lessen your chances for a long existance.

So anyway.

I'll wait until second update or somthing (I always win more if I join not in first turn :hmm: realy I do!) I wonder when 5 days will pass ;)

It's okay, Kejixu, there are a lot of countries between Armenia and Egypt. When I get a Mediterranean coastline, however... BEWARE! ;)

Gah!

A steppe nomad nation AND I have to change the update? Oh well, I guess I'll live.
