I'll wager it was to get the **** going from DFA songs- I'm not familear with Bass pedals myself (barelly with Guitar pedals, all said) but thats what I'd imagine youd need to work with to get that going.

what songs are you covering? or laternatelly, you may have been lookign to nail the sound, but write your own stuff

I used to cover all sorts of songs - mostly on rock and blues. My own songs are written in the alternative style.

And the bass line is nice and groovy. But to be honest, it's a normal bassline with the distortion effect added. For the record, though, bass distortion pedals are very rarely used (I'm a traditional bassist - nice solid boom-bah-doo-wah)

I worked as hard as humanly possible, and in the end, I only got to Ravenna (going Westwards). Which means I just have Europe to go.

@Bannana- no worries; that said, I knwo what you mean, I generally much prefer standard bass myself (generally sound better, and easier to lay a little grooving too) but I described that liek I did because I liek 'em, and its an attention grabber; and seeing a unique, and pretty awesoem power due, somthign already rare... why not?

that said, for soem nice basing, you obviouslly dont get much better then Flea, though I much like Carlos somthign somthing from the band "Interpol"; they have soem very nice stuff going on, and thier concerts arnt bad at all (went to one at the Orlando House of Blues last December; packed to the brim, still a good show, could have thrown a few more songs to what the crowd wanted though)

conditional orders within reason.

you have to remember- thier was formal, public treaty made between Germany, France and Ravenna; this I think, give soem leeway between us, whom ar epreparrign for Germany actually doublecrossing a public treaty, and the standard paranoid NESer.
