Ehhh....doesn't look good. :( Oh well. I got idea for a new border.

My borders tend to be less fancy then all of yours. :) But good work.

I like the stone border idea Pounder. With a little aging, or perhaps some mossy growth I think it has great potential to add character to the game. I suggest a desaturated dark brown. I would also suggest a small tower or post with little civ-colored flags. Maybe two per tile or so.

How do you handle the corners so well? I have a lot of trouble with that.

I like the civ-colored tops but you think you could make the lines less straight? maybre trace the curve borders to give it a more natural look?

I like the stone Idea even better than the fence! Could you incorperate the little outposts with the flags on them as well?

    @ pounder -
How are those stone borders comming along?
    Also
Have you concidered putting a "pounder pack" together with all of your improvements in it instead of having to download all of them separately. I'd like to see how you have your terrain in the games you play.

A library compilation might be a better idea since pounder creates several different versions of various graphics. Which I think we should all thank pounder for because it gives us a lot more options to choose from.

Note for pounder: Something that might be cool for stone borders could be an arch or gate. Just an idea I daydreamed of in class today. Don't work yourself to death.

Looking increasingly great! That pinkish on the stockade is the barber wire, I suppose?

Make the turrets darker so they are better visible.

Actually the top of the stockade is the cut points in Civ colour, it is the only place other than towers and flags that didn't overwhelm the borders with Civ colour.

I have circle the area where the new changes can be seen. I have the barbed wire (grayish) in front and behind and coming out away from the wall with those tri-stick (for the life of me I can't remember what they are called) barriers in Civ colours.

Edit: Looks better in the game, the colours are washed out in this JPEG.

I think those tri-sticks are called Chezch Hedgehogs... (did I spell Chezch right?)

Pounder, is there any way i could interest you in making a sandbag wall border with towers? It would be for the Fallout mod. :D

This is a very hard file to work with, I may try the sand bags. Problem is very limited on the colours available. They may have to be gray in colour.

There are Civ colours, transparent colours, translucent colours and very few solid colours. How neat do you want them stacked, square or triangle piles?

Pounder, they would not have to be neat, in fact messy would be nice. :D

Also colors are not a priority, as in Fallout most items are dull in color. So grey would be fine. As these borders are more to mark frontlines, and not real borders per say. :) If you decide to make them watchtowers would be great. If not, i can understand how some things are a pain in the backside. :D
