   . What about those doing neither?

They are probably Japanese businessmen. I call them Teriyaki. Somewhere between a terrorist and an Iraqi. A Terriraqi or Teriyaki. Oh, why am I so clever?

Time and again I've seen people claim that we're targetting Iraqis and that they're worse off now because of American presence. Let me make it very clear that we're not targetting Iraqis. We're targetting terrorists that may be of Iraqi nationality. Frankly, I think it's racist to say that we're targetting Iraqis, because that assumes that Iraqis are terrorists.
Repeat after me. "We're targetting terrorists, not Iraqis. Not all Iraqis are terrorits."
Repeat after me "My nation went into war for oil, not Iraqis"....

So you invade a country, and if they try to shoot at you, THEY are terrorists?

I thought you were targetting the foreigners coming into Iraq, not the Iraqis, who all welcome the occupying, uhh i mean liberating forces.

They are not only shooting at us. They are shooting at innocent Iraqi civilians too. It's one thing to be a soldier who fights others soldiers. It's another to be a terrorist that shoots at civilians for wanting freedom and democracy.

And it's quite another to kill a bunch of civilians while claiming to be trying to free them ...

Well I guess you can argue, they are free (so what if they are dead too). ;)

Picture this in your mind. 1960. USSR invades and occupies USA. In the name of freedom from opression (resemblance?). Some Americans go and work for the United Socialist States of America goverment. They serve soldiers, become RED policemen and so on. If you were fighting with Soviets wouldn;t you consider them traitors?

This is to illusterate the point of view you seem to be misunderstanding.

Actually, the game Freedom Fighter has an astoundingly similar situation. It's almost as if they made the game as a message...

Does the occupying force raise the Soviet flag over us, or not? Do they hold elections and allow US to choose our leaders, or not?

Important details.

The Soviet Union wasn't liberating nations, it was flying the Hammer and Sickle over them. And there were no elections. Big difference.

Yes there are flags above military bases like in Iraq
Yes there will be elections (like they were in Eastern Europe)
as far as I remember all Eastern European nations had their own flags and governments.

Try and see similarities between superpowers and a whole new world will open before you. Liberation is only a matter of opinion. One mans terrorist is another's freedom fighter. Once again this proves to be correct.

Afghanistan---->Opposed by Islamic Mujaheddin------>Mujaheddin and groundwork for Al Quaeda (including Osama Bin Laden) funded and trained by CIA.

Something with arsenic in it ?? The US soldiers probaby gun down anyone approaching. Scare of suicide bombers...

As they should. Anyone that comes within a certain range of a US base should be ordered to leave ONCE, if they ignore it, take them out. Eventually the civilians will learn they are not to go near a military base and steer clear. And any terrorists planning a suicide bombing will be spotted in this "kill zone" and be dealt with accordingly.
