Strategy mod - Like BUG - Does it exist?

Hi all!

I've searching through the mod's forum but came to nothing... I'm looking for a mod, with unaltered gameplay (like BUG) but for the "original" civ4.

I'm looking to some "help" to keep me in touch with the cities, alerting when a city becomes unhappy and such.

Does it exist anything like this?

You might try the Hall Of Fame mod-- I think it might do some of what you are looking for.

HoF Mod page is here... it has much of what BUG has ( both are a collection of smaller Mods and they share a lot of them ) and exists for vanilla ( i.e. "original" ) Civ IV.

The big problem with HoF is that, unlike BUG, it marks the saves, making that you can only open HoF saves with HoF.....

You are not 100% correct. There were about 3 or 4 of these unaltered mod packs for vanilla. I think I had the only one for warlords (could be wrong here). When BtS came out, I reached out to all of the developers of these mods and said "lets team up and work on this!". That got us rolling and it was good timing as alerum had just returned to the forum. Then EmperorFool joined us (he actually knows how to code - unlike us hackers) and our mod went vertical (ie really good).

Well... I'll try the Ruff mod. But in the download page has 2 versions: one for civ4 Vanilla and the other one for warlords. What version is Vanilla? Is another mod?

hmmn - the warlords one is for warlords and the vanilla one is for vanilla civ4.

wait, wait -- hold on here . . . warlords for warlords . . . hmmm...

"Vanilla" means the original Civ IV, without expansions or mods.
