Another genuinely stupid and pointless question.

Imagine that alien life has been discovered and humanity is inviting the new found intelligent species to Earth for a little chit-chat. It has been decided that in order for humanity to look united and organized everyone is going to wear the same uniform from this point onward. If you were the designer appointed to making the uniform, what would the design be?

I would make sure that the uniform that everyone was wearing was Manchester United Uniform. We will all be wearing Red and Singing songs about the Mighty Team. It would consist of the Manchester United logo on the front shirt and in bold letters would on each leg, MANCHESTER UNITED. That will show that we are truly UNITED.

We could all be wearing white uniforms with baby-blue letters on the chest saying "PEACE", but what will actually happen is that the aliens will be partially color-blind in our frequency range and will see us wearing uniforms the color of fresh green alien blood, and the hideous purple phrase on the front will read, in their language, "Go Stick Your Left Head In A Garbage Disintegrator".

Thereby resulting in all-out war for the next 470 years.

I go with Stratego's Idea. Only I have an improvement. We devolpe a personell Mech Infantry. One person in each of them capable of launching 6 Mini Missles with three independant Vulcan guns on each arm of the Mech. Then for people in the military we would devolpe a Large Mech Infantry unit which would need 5 people to run it. A commander, two drivers, navigator, and a weapons officers, each of these larger versions would be capable of launching a tactical Nuclear Weapon (Warhead Yield: 60KT) off its back 25 fully automaous Vulcan guns around its joints and connecting spot. and 200 slammer missles

Next have all of the Airforce pilots be trained on a Fighter that can leave the atmosphere and hit any ships they may have.- each fighter would have 3 tactical nukes(100KT Yield) along with 50(25 per wing) slammer missles.

Finally we would devolpe a ship. It would only really be capable of getting into orbit and engageing in combat it would have 600 of those personel Mech Infantry on board along with 60(200KT) nuclear warheads. We would sieze the ship that landed, then send our ship to capture at least one of the ships in orbit then nuke the hell out of the rest of them and we win.

Also the reason I would assume that we would win is that in order for a race to get to us threw the vastness of space they would needed to spend a great amount of time devolpeing such engine technology and not have spent that much time on advanced tweapon technology. So we would annilate them. Then figure out threw the captured ships where their homeworld was and then spend a few years backward engineering their engines to fit our needs then off to conquering. As we go we would get more and more advanced weaponary, engines, and overall technology. And eventaully we would devolpe a vast Galatic Empire..... Woooo I went into way to much detail on that.
