Yeah I know it's about 200 years early, but I asked Xen and he said it would be alright.... beats having my civ sit on its ass for 200 years at 10-year turn increments. ;)

Western Europe

Western Roman Empire
Seizing the initiative further, the Roman armies are able to completelly re-take the federated lands under the Franks, taking back Roman territory, furthering the great military- and to a great extent social reofrms to a time long past, the Emperor proceeds to throw a kegger.

Franks
retreating from Roman ladns, the franks are scathing with anger at what theyfeel is trechery of the highest order, and in the center of thie rlands on thier side of the Rhine, gather thier forces to bette rbe able to command them if the Romans shoudl press the attack inot thier homland, and while no such attack comes, the condesing of warriors, and the fact that they travelld with thier familles has resulted in the foundation of a City, where upon, to icrese moral, they throw a kegger.

Britannia
Seeing that the north is being raided (see Northern Europe section), and that the W. Roman Empire has taken back its lands succesfully, but the fierce lothaing and preperation for war by the Franks, they throw a kegger to increse moral and ready for war, just in case....

@AAminion,Erez, and falling icarus- i have but till the 13th of June to contiue updateing this NES< before it must be put on a hold because fo my 20 day trip to the “Atlantic Archipelago” ;), as such, I want to make sure everyone is enjoying this NES alot, so that, if I am completlly unabe to update while i am there, you will all still be interested- as such, I want to update as often as possible, and if everday is possible because of orders and my own time availible, then it will be- for the next few days this will be possible, as after that, i actually have plans to go do **** (@ AAminion- remember that one chick who said she was stalking me? well, i got her ;) :D)

Central Europe

Teutons
The Teutons, freshly sober from one hell of a kegger, choose to expand to the east, bu tmeet with limited results- the main reason, so say the sub chiefes, is lack of a central location to to administrate from; appaled that he would use such a Roman concept, Foederick smaked him, but the idea was suck- it would be a good idea to found a city...

uEastern Europe

Alans
The Kingdom of the Alans has, for now, ceased to expand, rather focusing inward, on its own, and its newly joined people. in a great ceremony at the heart of the great ‘City of Tents”, currently, and slowly receiving rudimentary fortifactions, despite the Alans lack of skill in building them, there was, in the greatest grandest tent seen anywhere, the entire host of the kingdoms nobility was gathered, and in a grandure never before seen on the Steppe, they were granted the status of full Alans, with all the rights and privileges thereof, this combined with the Kings orders to scout about the local resource during his great expansion, have resulted in good times for the economy, and it has been raised (bonus used)

Eastern Roman Empire
The eastern Roman empire, taking the news that the goths have unfied, very seriouslly, and goes to extravegent legths to ensure that it is well preparred for an invasion- undergoing a fortifacation project the likes of which have neve rbeen seen in the west, 3 economy is spent on building a huge Danubic wall, saeling off eastern roman and Gothic territory along the Danube river, with only a several selct large cities and major military out post sbeing the key gateways through, the largest single “gateway” being the longstanding fortress-city of Singidunum- re-inforced byt a garrison of fresh Cataphracts. all this has left the Eastern Empires coffers dry, and as such, it was not able to secure a trade rout with the Alans.

Visigoths
The Visigothic Kingdom has enterd a new high point, as its King fretigern has successfuly brung about the merger- and thus re-unifacation of the Gothic nation! Granting the Ostrogothic leaders the technicalit yof retianing dominion over most of thier former kingdom, the Unfied Gothic nation (still known as the Visigoths unless/until the Ostrogths cease to be a federate, and fully unify) choose to expand its military power, by incresing the numbers of both the numbers of warband, and, using its new found affulence, attract Eastern Roman mercenaries, choking under the rule of a christian emperor...
(first bonus used, new bonus gained for Gothic re-unifacation, new bonus can be lost of Goths spilt.)

Speking of Christians... a man of Gothic heritage, educated in the Empire entered the Gothic lands in the name of his christian god, using charisma, and promising the Visigoths a new found place in the world, he has won many converts in the southern lands, converts to a form of Christianity known as Arianism- however, not all goes good for the Visigoths because of this- the Ostrogoths are inraged, asone of the tenants of of the unifacation of the Goths was the common Gothic culture shared by them- and with a great many of the Visigoths converting to Arianism, in the Ostrogothic poitn of veiw, they have been betrayed by thier own brothers! While angrey,a dn feelign cheeted, the king of the Ostrogoths is bale to convince his nobles that the Kinghimself is not an Arian, and they have yet to see how he will react to the development.

Northern Europe

Scandinaves
Freshlly reinforced by large bands of warriors, the Scandanave warriors proceed to start a great many tasks- the most notable fo which are the attempted voyage to “Thule”, a desolate island in the far northern seas, which turns out to be a total folly, and hwile the majority of the troops got back in safty, the Cheifes who led the expedition gave thier solid opinions that advancemnts in how thier ships work would need to be made before attmeoting such a voayage with colonists and warriors on it agian.

much more succesful, were the raids on the Pictish coast, which while costlly due to the Higlandrs love of thier homelands, and fierce indipence, did succesfully add ot the Scandanave treasury, moreover, it served to be an attractor to some W. Roman, and Britainc Roman mercenriaries, who soon join the army of the King Sven.

Most notable however, is the coincidental repsonse to the faileure at sea by the scandinave navy, an effort ot increse the ability of Scandinave...“seamen...

Middle East and India

Persia
Expanding on thier expansionist policies in the Caspiansea area, the Persian king decides to spend an economy on 1000 more spearmen, and to reinforce his holding with a total 1500 troops- with such a force int he region, expansion is much easyer, however, the expansion has caues a barbarian upriseing to the north of his new gains, and they are bent on stopping his expansion wholesale.

Hedjaz
Politically, the landhas not seen much action- culturally, however, great rippels have been made- a man by the name of Mohammed has had visions in the desert, and beliving them to be direct messages from his god (asusming they were not dreams of sleep, or visions due ot the strong arbaic tradition of smokeing opium that is) cultural shockwaves abound as one of the major cities in the region, Meccha, is shocked converted into this new faith- the faith spreads to the surroundinf lands, fo rthe most part by peace, though many of the retianer sof the old faith, are, to say th eleast, riduculed, somtimes more harsh step are taking, given the precedent at Mechha- the other nations of the desert eye Hedjaz

Gupta
The Gupta throw a big kegger

The Far East
War in the Three Kingdoms!

the Wu emperor had been acting carefully enough, garrisonign yet more troops on his borders, and having his river ships patrol the great rivers of his land- perhaps the most well naturally defended of the Three Kingdoms of china, he was confident enough in his nations safety to orginize a great sailign expedition to the island of Taiwan, sending a great host of ships, 1000 of his levies, and 550 of his cavalry to secure the land. needless to say, the land fell quicklly.
Losses- Wu200 Infantry

However, the Kingdom of Shu had expansionary ideals of its own, and after securing its borders, luanched an attack, perfectlly timed, by great coincidence, to be after the barges of the Wu had left thier ports, leaving the navy to not be able to defend the river borders of Wu as fully as they could...

The result was a series of runnign battles along the river inthe south, where a huge mass of Shu cavalry, 1000 strong attempted to pentrate the Shu borders, however, the remainign barges were able to both spot the infiltraitors, and delives troosp to the the scen, but it was along the central Wu-Shu border that disaster for the Wu occures- pre-occupied witrh defending the cavalry force from the south, the navy was busy ferrying troops to that area, to repuls them, leving the central garrisons undermanned with all the military activity- a huge assult by 2500 Infantry of Shu launched into the kingdom, thoug as the Wu kingdom had long been preparing for defenive action, they did giuve a good account fo themselves in battle
Losses- Shu600 cavalry, 600 Infantry, Wu 500 Archers, 300 Infantry, 200 Cavalry

In the North, the kingdom of Wei watches the southern War mutelly, as incresed barbain activity to his north has reached a fervour and intensity never before seen as the nearlly continues, almost genocidal civil wars of the Mongols draw to a high point, and at any tiem once victory is secured by one side, it is the Kingdom of Wei that is the target- the circumstances led him to accept the SHu offer of an NAP, for the time being at least.

what, do you think your allowed to have a life or something

In only a few years Islam had spread to become the dominant religion throughout the Hedjaz. Eight out of every ten Arab men, women, or children was a faithful Muslim; but there was a problem. The main point of resistance amongst the pagans was that they had temples and shrines in which to pray to their gods, while the Muslims had to pray to an invisible god in their average everyday surroundings. For this reason, the people of the southern Hedjaz remained idolaters, defiant of the preachings of the Prophet.

Mohammed's closest friends and followers, who had first fled to Medina with him, and who had also taken part in the destruction of the Ka'aba, now served as his closest advisors. They were well aware of the public sentiment regarding places of worship; while Mohammed had at first preached humility and that Allah could be worshipped from anywhere, it was becoming obvious that that doctrine needed to change. Muslims needed a place of worship to call their own, a sacred space where they could worship the One True God and finally feel like they had a single, unified faith.

And so Mohammed and his followers began the construction of a great structure around the site of the ravaged Ka'aba meteor. Mohammed, after a dream, had declared the black stone holy, and as such Islam's first holy shrine would be erected around it. This, the Great Mosque of the Ka'aba, would serve as the place of worship for Mecca's citizens and as the focal point for the worship of every Muslim, wherever he lived. One of Mohammed's closest companions, Ibrahim bin Othman, had been training under a master builder in Mecca before the flight to Medina. Therefore, it was he who was chosen by the Prophet to design and oversee the construction of the Great Mosque.

bin Othman created for the Mosque a unique new style of architecture, unlike any ever seen before, the goal of which was to draw the admiration and adoration of the faithful towards heaven and Allah, and to create a beautiful space without the idolatrous images of the pagans. The main part of the structure was a round stone building with many tall, taper-topped glass windows and a great stone dome. The building, built of sandstone, was faced with glimmering white limestone, and was painted with subtle but interesting patterns in deep blues, yellows, and reds. The great dome was faced with finely crafted gold leaf, imported from the craftsmen of Egypt via the Red Sea. At opposite sides of the main structure, attached to it like appendages rather than freestanding buildings, were two tall stone towers, called minarets. At the top of these two towers were great silver bells, which were rung by bellmen to call the faithful to prayer. Inside the Great Mosque, the walls were faced with limestone and painted with intricate geometric patterns. There were no images or idols. The windows let in natural sunlight, and there were also candles throughout. The floors were tiled, with the different colored tiles creating geometric patterns. The floor space was left almost entirely empty, to give the faithful room to unroll their prayer rugs and pray. In the very center of the Mosque (the Mosque was actually built around this spot) is the Ka'aba itself; the black meteor is surrounded by a modest black stone cube. Finally, potruding from the walls all the way around the Mosque are gold incense burners, in which incense is burned to create a pleasing aroma and sanctify and purify the sacred space of the Mosque.

Mohammed loved bin Othman's plan for the Mosque, and ordered it built as he designed. Hundreds of men from Mecca, Medina, and the surrounding countryside came to take part in building the great house of Allah. Working on the project also had another significance for them: by coming to Mecca to work on the Mosque, they were performing the Pilgrimage they were bound to complete once in their lives.

emmm...Xen..how was Shu able to invade me without having a navy? Wading across the river?

King Sun Quan had perfected his 13 points, or Sun Quan Huandi de shi san dian:
1.No slaughters of cilivans will be allowed.
2.Prisoners of war are all to be respected, even the lowest foot soldier.
3.Do not take wat is not rightfully yours, offer the inhabitants something in exchange.
4.Do not fight to the death, ur survival may save hundreds of others
5.Those who serve Heaven do not desire to rule heaven.
6.Those who are good, will be rewarded in time.
7.Do not fight for wealth or power, but to liberate the enemy's people.
8.Treat ur people well in their times of need, and they will aid u in ur times of need.
9.Do not punish those who need to be punish, Heaven will punish them in good time.
10.A soldiers does not just serve his King, but his family, clan, city or village, and Heaven.
11.If a enemy general has ordered destruction of farms, massacres of cities, the soldiers are not to be blamed, but the General. The General will be executed for crimes against Heaven.
12.All countries should work for a balanced world with a strong nation and Emperor.
13.None are too great to be tossed down, in other words, the higher you rise, the greater the fall.

Just as he finished, he recieved word that Shu had invaded. He had expected an invasion any time, and the clearly evident invasion of Taiwan worked and drew the Shu out of hiding. The Shu soldiers will ALL become prisoners of war, or die. There was no escape, the Die is Cast!
