Subdued Animals in C2C discussions

Each his turn :p

Also, everyone love cold temperatures, do you? -24C is perfect for an little walk. ;)
When I was younger sure! Now, not so much. This winter we here in Western Illinois started off with a Blizzard in Mid November. Then back to 50*F range in early December and now back to more "blizzard" like weather with lots of snow and ice and the Alberta Express chuggin' on by. Still have about 10-12" of left over snow and ice from the last storm and more coming in a day or so. I guess 2 weeks ago I should've went out in the back yard and made the blocks needed for an igloo. The snow then would've packed well. Now....too little moisture content with sub zero temps to pack well.

You know how to made an igloo?

Right click your SVN folder and select "SVN Update" in the context menu. Depending on your system setup, you may have to hold down shift when right clicking the folder to reveal hidden/advanced entries in the context menu.

Sorry to ask, but where are the SVN folder? I have searched in the mod files, but I have find nothing really useful. Do it was the version.svn file? And, if yes, how I can update it?

If you downloaded through the SVN, your mod folder IS the SVN folder. It's called a repository. If you can right click on your mod folder and NOT see an Update option in the selection list on right click, then you didn't setup an SVN download (unless you downloaded elsewhere and exported the SVN data to a new Caveman2Cosmos folder in the Mods folder - if that's what you did then your SVN folder is the one where you downloaded the mod into from the SVN.)

If you haven't setup an SVN repository for the mod, then follow the instructions on the first post of the SVN thread stickied in this forum. If that's confusing, check this out:

Have you followed the instruction on the first post in this thread?

You only need to look at point A and B.

If so, then the folder you worked with in that instruction-set is your SVN folder, and you should be able to right click it any time and update to the latest daily build of C2C.

Grassland bonus should be OK. And pronghorn herds like other livestock.
American cheetah should have some bonuses vs. birds, lagomorphs and pronghorn/gazelles in grassland/scrub.

Used to do it when I was a boy and when we had a big enough snow. And it was just right for a small boy to fit in to it. So scale is the important factor here.

But that was 55+ years ago. :p

Which version of Tortoise should I take?

Always good to know :P

For the new animals, which ones would you like to be add?

To find out if whether you have a 32-bit or a 64-bit system:
Insert this line in your control panel address bar:
Control Panel\System and Security\System
Note: to get to your "control panel" you can insert "Control Panel" in a regular folder address bar. "Control panel" can usually also be accessed from the "start menu".

If that doesn't work you can press "win+pause" buttons on your keyboard to open the same window.
win = button with a microsoft flag
pause should be close to your numpad; often above page up and page down buttons.

Other than that.... the latest version of tortoise SVN is often the best choice.

I managed to find the version for my system.

I will install Tortoise in the next days, and make many animal for an first pack.

But, that been said, I do not really understand the last steps of the last point (and sorry if that sound noobish): Once I have made my first pack, and place it in an separate C2C folder, how do you will manage to view it?

1. We can look at them in nifscope.
2. You could look at them in nifscope and post screenshots of what you see.

I don't even know what nifscope are...

I will convert ZT2 animals to an more useful format, and read, again, the steps.
It was clearly something, on my side, that I have missed.
