Suggestions and requests

Make the worst enemy for only if the civilization is annoyed or furious. After gifting Mali a tech, they are now pleased, but only know me and Arabia, who they are friendly with, making me, though they are pleased with me, their worst enemy.

Also, get HRE to have Hamburg or Kiel instead of Lubeck. They really like the Bremen spot.

Do they also have Lubeck?

They have been founding Bremen even with Lubeck.

I was playing a game as the Moors, and took over Rome! I got to thinking though, with the Arabs gone and the Egyptians being all weak and stuff, the Holy City should move to Rome!
I think of the Avignon Papacy, too. The Catholic holy city should move (I don't know where), and the apostolic palace should go with it. It seems strange that I control the Apostolic Palace, but it still is hosting catholic meetings and spreading catholicism.
In my game, I moved the Islamic holy city Rome, and moved the Catholic one and the apostolic palace to France. The Arabs never built the Muslim shrine, so I was able to found it in Rome.

suggestion: upon turkish spawn, a road should be built on the tile they spawn so that you can capture byzantium on first turn and not have some crappy city as your capitol which flips during first turn

The ottomans didnt capture Constantinope straight away though... it took then awhile before they succeeded in conquering it.

well, in that case then the cities that the ottomans flip should be at least size 4. on my 4 last ottoman games, ive never had a road on my spawn tile, and my capitol was always either trabzon or khersones. the former is always size 1 with hopefully a granary and the latter usually size 4 with no improvements whatsoever.

needless to say, constantinople is very easily captured on turn 2, but capturing it on turn 2 means you have to build a darn capitol in it.

if constantinople is capturable on turn 2, then it should be capturable on turn 1 or perhaps a capitol should be automatically built upon capture.

i think the most simple way to solve this is to just put a road on the tile the turks spawn

Has Leo changed the requirements for building a Palace ? 'Cause it used to be a pain to have to wait until Athens was conquered to be able to finally make Istanbul your Capital.

Would it be interesting for AIs to have free historical Golden Ages?

e.g. Ottomans 1520, England 1560, Russia 1680, Prussia 1870. These free GAs will be triggered for the AIs if their civs are under-performing (measured by score rank, for example. If Prussia is in the bottom half of Europe in terms of score in 1870 it gets a free GA).

2 Things: Steam Power should enter you into the Industrial Era and Vultures should probably be re-added to the pedia because it's a mercenary now. Also I know that you are planning on adding decolonization but as a heads up, as Japan in the 1800's the only places europeans have colonized are the places with conqueror's events. There was not a single colony in North America other than Mexico. I did not interfere with it.

Well, you interfered by existing, but that is beside the point. Europeans have a tendency to colonize places that America flips.
Vultures, impi, dog soldiers, any other UU where the civilization is not represented. I say no need as what needs to be known is in the unit stats, and you can always look it up in vanilla civilopedia or online.

Where else did they have colonies? Did England go hard after Australia, Netherlands hard after South Africa, and how was France doing? Were they doing their European ultra-expansion, their sit and do nothing, or their slowly collapse and get eaten by Germany (either one).

I've been seeing this in recent revisions as well. It's not so much that they're NEVER colonizing, but they have been getting into the game later. I think it's a tech issue, for whatever reason, neither the English nor French seem to value Astronomy very highly. I usually see the French pursuing Patronage and Military Tradition, while the English go after Economics and Rifling. The Spanish and Portuguese are a little better, though both of them are often distracted by wars, which I would imagine is only made worse by the addition of the Moors.

Noticed that too. I'll increase the Astronomy tech weight for the colonizers.

France had a colony in Madagscar and the Dutch had a few Carribean islands and that's about it. Status in Europe was normal, nothing out of the ordinary.

Just a minor annoyance:
Can you modify the conqueror / trading company code such that the forces don't appear in jungle tiles, i.e. are invincible to all but elephants and Khmer? It is quite strange that the units appear on a tile that they couldn't reach by any other means.
I confess I'm currently reloading my Mughal game to finally get this pesky French stack to show up on anything but jungle.

Well, using the resurrection mechanic it might be possible to do one or all of the following:

1) "Release" a dead civ whose core you control (like releasing colonies in BtS)
2) Ask another civ to release a dead civ whose core they control
3) Have the UN vote on releasing a dead civ

I can't say at the moment how involved this would end up being though.
Leoreth, can we count this as 'officially' on the to-do-list? It did get a pretty good reception, and more UN activity is always a plus IMO. Obviously, the six minors are your your current priority, and then there is the whole decolonization and K-Mod ordeal, but maybe somewere down the line?

Probably, yes :) I don't want to be too definite.
