Suggestions for Dynamic Names

Yeah, I know Emperor Norton. Amazing guy, definitely deserves an easter egg dynamic name should you ever move your capital to San Francisco.

Whats your thoughts on having most of the Soviet vassals know as (for example) American SSR (for Soviet Socialist Republic) instead of Soviet America.
And Nazi vassals either taking Reichskommisariat or Reichsprotektorat (or however you spell these correct in Deutsch)

Soviet China becomes Chinese SSR
German China becomes Reichsprotektorat China

I'm not too clear on when to use kommisariat or protektorat?

Me neither. I think the difference is that a Protektorat (the only example I can think of is the Reichsprotektorat Böhmen und Mähren, i.e. Czechia) is still nominally sovereign, while a Kommissariat is simply governmental institution for occupied territories.

Kommissariat is more recognizably "Nazi", while Reichsprotektorat is too similar to the generic "Protectorate of X".

If America is both Capitalist and Totalitarian: America Inc.

Perhaps the Second American Republic would be better? What are the names for the US used in the Man in the High Castle (modern Japanese and German Vassals)?

One thing I noticed was missing was a selection of theocratic state names; I was hoping my Protestant Viking State had a name. Perhaps as a starting point: Catholic: the Diocese of Scandinavia (France/England/etc)... I don't know what the Protty equiv of a diocese is though.

I went with America Inc. mostly as a reference to Next War.

I don't think there is one. Except for the Anglicans, the protestants are very decentralized, as far as I know. They kind of didn't like the Church hierarchy.

the term Covenant may be appropriate here. I know Scottish protestants (mainly Calvinist) in the 17th century used this term to describe the agreement between state and church. Maybe the Norwegian Covenant or the Great Scandinavian Covenant etc?

Not sure if this has been suggested by anyone else, but I think I already did.
Phoenicia's late game names should depend on capital placement so you don't see, say Lebanon based in Tunisia, which, if Phoenicia survives this long, is what will happen due to the Byzantine and Arab flips. Thus, Phoenicia should be used to represent a few Mediterranean civs based upon capital placement. Just an idea.
