The Egyptians are such culture hogs, taking the Oracle and ToA and The Hanging Gardens, im guessing they went directly for Monarchy.

When are you gonna :spear: and :hammer: some more? Cavalry armies are still dominant over rifles.

All the factories, banks and wonders will be done soon. Then research Replaceable Parts and Espionage, then turn off research for a while. Use the cash to buy armies and upgrade horseman.

Try to get this far with the cavalry armies-
170-world_map.JPG

Go thru Zulu, America and Egypt with cavalry. Then start up research again and go for tanks, bombers, paratroopers and modern armor!!
I like to play with things awhile before annillation.

almost sure Egypt is in Democracy, or do you mean they researched monarchy?

I meant to say it looks like Egypt had taken the Mysticism-Polytheism-Monarchy tech tree since they have all 3 wonders.:p

Set research to Atomic Theory, click on the 'Big Picture', and switch Orleans to Theory of Evolution to complete this turn.

The AI will soon be 3 techs behind.:D

Free tech no.1(well, free if you don't count a 600 shield wonder;) )
161-stomic_theory.JPG

Set research to Electronics to gain access to Hoovers Dam.

And free tech no.2
162-eloctronics.JPG

Replaceable Parts will be in the bag in 7 turns.

Paris is switched to Hoovers, Rheims switched to Pentagon and another army is purchased.

Babylon and Egypt have Fascism and both are currently in anarchy.

Wow, nice game, what victory are you going for again? Space?:king:

Conquest is the preferred mode of victory.

Gonna try to have some fun and use some units that I have never used.
After taking out a few nations with cavalry armies, then use marines to attack an island-bound foe, use bombers to sink any enemy ships coming my way, drop a few paratroopers, aircraft carriers, mobile artillery and maybe some stealth aircraft to....uhhh just to say I built some.:)

Are nukes part of the plan?:nuke:

Also, you might wanna try Cruise Missles, they are the alternative to artillery, IMHO, they are awesome.:goodjob:

The Zulu have taken on a second opponent-
172-zulu_declare_on_egypt.JPG

Most of the Zulu units should already be heading east against America and Egypt is to the south of that. While the Zulu units are off fighting in the east, French armies are assembling in the west.;)

Orleans is put on palace again to save shields for the Intelligence Agency.

Gotta keep the gold rolling in. Both Babylon and Egypt are in Fascism and don't have quite as much gpt as before.

Time to do some spying! Let's start with the Zulu-
181-cost_spy_zulu.JPG

The Zulu don't have much of anything except impi-a total of 160 of them. Besides that a few each of knights, medieval inf. and cavalry.

Can't allow this to happen! My horseman scout(which happens to be about 2000 years old:lol: ) has been keeping tabs on the land bridge that leads from Zululand over to Egypt, America and Japan. Zulu forces have been crossing that bridge for a while and I want to give them every reason to stay on the other side.

Here is a picture of the Zulu heading east over the land bridge. The red x is where I would like to plant a city and trap them over there.
188-zulu_crossing_landbrige.JPG

Was hoping to start a war with the Zulu this turn, but unfortunately there is a trade deal for incense in place for 12 more turns. Need to revive the alliance vs. America, get a settler & supporting troops to the land bridge and get a settler to the incense(so it can be shipped home quicker after declaring war). So, the following deal is made-
186-zulu_alliance_ROP.JPG

The ROP is to get the settler and troops to the land bridge. After the incense deal ends, war can commence. Don't mind breaking a ROP or an alliance, but just can't ruin my trading abilities.

Install Mr. Bond in America for 108g and in Japan for 172g. Here are their army stats-

Turn research back on for Corporation in 6 turns. Stock Exchanges will help make even more tax money!

Cavalry army razes New San Diego, which is north of the Zulu.
189-raze_new_sandeigp.JPG

The army will then head toward New Los Angeles(top of picture).

Have tried to get a spy into Russia for several turns now, but the spy was caught and Catherine was displeased. Will stop trying now for fear of starting a war and Egypt declaring. Am getting a bit of gpt, from Egypt, that I don't want to lose.
190-Mpp_russia_egept.JPG

1050AD
Egypt asked for an alliance vs. the Zulu and the answer was NO. Not yet.

There were 11 horseman and 3 cavalry built this turn. After upgrading there is 151 cavalry and 12 armies. Still seven turns left on the incense deal and troops are moving into position.:)

The 'pillager' army has been watching events at the Egypt/American front. New Miami has changed hands a few times; the army ends that with a razing. There were 3 defenders, representing all three eras known. A hurt rifleman, a pikeman and a spearman were taken out.

New Los Angeles is razed-

Back home a minor city has been building explorers to disband in Wonder City, so that an army can be purchased every turn.
