Taking a break

He's back! Who would have thought of this? Well, I did because I knew you loved C2C just like the rest of us do :P
It's just some like the love to be a bit more rough, some like it more subtle, etc
but not having any love at all is simply not a vaible option.

The strategic differences we may have had aside, I was always aware that your programming expertise offers great benefits to the mod!

As some of you may or may not have guessed I'm not really doing much for C2C nowadays, primarily because I'm spending my modding time working on a civ 5 mod (linked in my sig). I'll still fix any bugs with my stuff, but someone will need to PM me about them because I'm not the most avid reader of this part of the forums anymore, and I'll still play the MP games.

Was just looking at that yesterday actually. Hey... maybe it would be cool if someone could actually make civ V a good game. If anyone can do it it'd probably be you man. Nice to see you stand on your own merits - I have a feeling your mod will be quite successful.

If I ever get art assets for it that is. ;) Everything else in civ 5 is quite easy to learn coming from civ 4.

I hear that, Civ V put the assets every place, top of XML and some in the middle and then some at the bottom, and some all three, its quite confusing really, but i guess once you get used to it, it will help. Glad you started a new "project" on your own:), not quite as many people trying to help out there, is there?? Hope you can still do the d/l'ing, since ModDb, is having trouble with my NEW stuff i want added, i cant even edit anymore on anything there:(

I am also glad that C2C was a stepping stone for your career, and you met a "few" good people along the way.
