If this is for where I think it is, I was insulted there recently- ironically, shortly after I'd decided I didn't care enough to withhold my work anymore- and you can see how I might not want to contribute there in any signifigant way. Now, if the effort I put forth is minor enough or an apology was forthcoming, of course I'd want to.

Tell you what; go ahead and throw some ideas at me. I might like doing it, and things could change in the future anyway- I certainly hope so...

so, take a look at this thread. i want to update it because the GotM will soon become a tradition, so i'm short of 3 pictures for now (July, September and November) and December is coming up soon.

...go ahead and throw some ideas at me. I might like doing it...

it doesn't have to be something very elaborated, just something creative. it will be ok even if you go the same way as the June front page with pictures pasted over a screen shot from the game. but i want to show also, if possible, some features from the scenario as every one was somehow special (at least till now).

So, tonight I started that "Attack of the EcoClones" novelty game I mentioned upthread. See the attached screenshots.

Looking at the headquarters line-up, I see that I settled on far too simular a color scheme for the Rainbow Warriors and Mindworm Cult bases. I think I need to do what I did with the Mindworms with Minds and stick fungal towers on top of the worm cult bases....

I've gotten a lot better at this since February- adding fungal tower tops to the Mindworms with Minds bases took me a day, and I don't think I did as nice a job then...

Well my friend pointed-out it's weird that the leaders live for so long...so I countered with advanced technology increases lifespan...and he was all like 'yeah, but not that much; they'd still have to be, what, two years old at Planetfall?'...

...Give me a little more info for the next one, and I'll see if I can do more with it- I didn't want to install the scenarios and play through them just for this, but if you gave me screenshots with elements that ought to be featured, I could certainly work them into future efforts...

Could you make the Factions play music when you meet with them? Like, the Communist Hive playing the CCCP National Anthem and stuff...?

I have no idea how to do that and am pretty sure it can't be done. Sorry. It would be way cool.

...I was once watching a Russian guy playing ping-pong and started humming that national anthem. He laughed, and started singing it loud as he played. I said "They have a national anthem in a minor key and claim to not be an evil empire." He laughed again. I love that about eastern Europeans- they're rude, but they don't expect you to be polite, either...
