I swear she looked better last night! (oops...)
No, really. That's ugly. I will have to remake it.

Soft fix.

Just made different units for the Lupo and Soldati (or Artigliere) class frigates. The differences between them in Italian service are really minor. However, as the Hittin class ordered by Saddam Hussein, they would have been more ASW oriented. They were held back during the Iran-Iraq war, then Saddam's regime tried to renegotiate the price due to the dealy and then they were seized by the Italian navy in 1993. They tried to sell them off to the Philippines in 2012 but the deal fell through.
Only one Soldati is still in service with Italy, two more were placed in reserve a couple of months ago.
All four of the Lupos were transferred to Peru between 2004-2006, that also operates four sister ships (Carvajal class) with US missles and radars.
Venezuella also used six Lupos as the Mariscal Sucre class, fitted with Israeli electronics. Two are still active.

Certainly one of the best frigate designs of the cold war, primarily very fast and very well armed.

The six ship French Floreal class light frigate, that has largely replaced the D'Estienne d'Orves class in the Marine Nationale, after the cold war. Its commercial modular construction standard was the basis for the later La Fayette class. Two more ships are in use by the Moroccan navy. The French ships are named after months in the French revolutionary republican calendar, and are almost exclusively based in French overseas territories. They trade their very slow speed (only 20 knots) for impressive range (10 to 13 thousand nm). They are well armed for their size.

@Tanelorn I still have yet to see a Louisiana swamp boat or the SS Minnow... :p

Give one of them a try, Patine.
I could TRY, but they'd likely more closely resemble units out of old '80's Apple II Series and DOS games if I did them (just with a lot more than 4 or 16 colours available).
