Next, I tried a game with Cyrus:
The last game was the most boring game ever. I had this huge island to myself and Ethopia was my only contact for a very, very long time. He spawned on the island next to me. Maybe I should go with a cultural victory? Nah, I should just regenerate a map and try again.

Are you sure your not Japan is the second game?

Can anyone tell me how to modify a scenario? All I want to do is add all 34 civs to the 18 civ earth map that comes with the game. I'm a noob when it comes to modding.
Instead of trying to mod it yourself try downloading a Mod someone has already made like Lt.Bob's BTS 40 Civ Mod which allows 34 civs, or Liambane's Earth 35 Civs which is just like it sounds.
