it should be in the MP loby. MP>Internet>Login> then find the game
 
the other day i played a dual map with all victories but conquest disabled. then today for my darius game, i forgot to reenable them. i would have won diplo but since it was off, i figured i had accidently clicked it. so then i went for tech. by the time i realized they were all off it was too late to win. :cry: but since i was ahead of all the AIs by at least 1000 score, i think its pretty safe to say i can move up to monarch
 
Hey TMIT, I know a lot of people watch your LPs and I had an idea. Instead of doing on in SP, do one in MP with a few of us. That way you could show some of your viewers some MP stuff and get some advertising for AMAZON. You may have mentioned AMAZON already, but I haven't watched many of your videos yet. Though I should probably start. WDYT? If we could just find a time we could all play. What time works for you guys?

I assume this stands for Succession Game of the Month, but what is this exactly. I am pretty busy with all the things and games I've got going on right now, but I might help a little if it were explained to me.

I succession game is sort of like a PTBS, but all people are on one team. Usually the team decides on how many turns each one will play (usually 20). The first player plays 20 turns and then posts a turn log with the save attached. The next person in line downloads it and plays the next 20 turns, and so on. Note we are all playing as one civ, there's no competitiveness and it's all about teamwork.

I understand the Succession Game part of it. But why is it called "of the Month"? How is it different than a regular Succession Game?
 
Oh, the teams form and compete against other teams for the earliest finish. So you do compete, but there is no other human opponents that you will clash with in-game.

It could work, but the logistics on it would not be kind. Basically, youtube forces 10-11 minute segments. The only way we could put up a halfway viable let's play is if we ran a BLAZING timer with quick speed. I have the play speed to do that, which was why I was asked to do let's plays over players who are markedly better than me, but it wouldn't feel comfortable for many. I do believe it could be done then, but with a MP timer even ONE error and we lose footage :/.

I'm willing to try it though. I'm sure the viewers would like it. Let me finish Boudica first though.

Edit: I have a SGOTM team, actually named by me before my computer gave me bad issues with HoF mod...I've since resolved them, and would like to do more for that team. Actually, I'm not the only representative of Who Dat? on team AMAZON, so I'll have to respectfully decline a new SGOTM team ;).
 
I think we should choose a state song. A song that encompasses the AMAZON spirit.

Some suggestions:

Don't Stop Believin by Journey (because AMAZONs never stop believin)

Tarzan Boy by Baltimora (because it's a cool jungle song...and Amazons are from the jungle...kinda.)

Fly Like an Eagle by the Steve Miller Band (because AMAZONs soar! or something.)

Celebration by Kool and the Gang (because AMAZONs are famous for their outlandish celebrations)

Heaven is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlsie (because the AMAZON nation is equivalent to heaven on earth)

The Lion Sleeps Tonight by the Tokens (another jungle themed song)

Any suggestions?
 
Hm... all I can think of is beatle songs :p. And of the list above I only know the lion sleeps tonight. There is one by AVA, but I need to look what it's called. EDIT: It's called Secret Crowds by Angels and Airwaves.
