1.7 - Exchange of Contact

Description: No team or individual is permitted to barter, gift, or otherwise trade any sort of contact information until the requisite tech is discovered. A simple statement to team 'Z' that you live next to team 'Y' is allowable so long as no transactions are made or brokered between the two.

Definition: A team trading anything for any location or contact information before allowed in-game.

Purpose: To prevent the use of outside game elements to break the spirit of the game by allowing contact and location information to be traded before they are allowed in-game.

Verdict: Using this exploit or any other exploit that allows any contact or location information trading before the tech is discovered through any means is a violation of this rule.

Punishment Level: Once – Orange (1-5 Turns), Repeat Offense - Red (2-20 Turns)

NunoC3B: 1) Do u have a resource by more that one quantity? a tradable one?
NunoC3B: 1a) I think we should try to make a port in near time, so we can trade those goods
NunoC3B: 2) I believe that an aliance like that we should and must be honest in wonder targets. It is important that we talk, so that we don't go to the same wonder as we should not go for the same tech. The same cooperation model is required on my humble opinion

EMP: See my post #61. It's strictly forbidden to talk about contacts!!!!!!! You did however a good job on keeping the info on our Ivory/Statue of Zeus secret. But, yet again, we must decide what we want to do with our Wonder! I changed my mind on this, so maybe other also switched/want to switch in the light of our new agreement. A new poll maybe?

-> They very much (nearly know) suspect us to have Ivory. That stops the need to keep SoZ secret (at least the effort) and we should build it in the Capital. 15 turns quicker is a lot !!!

Can we still switch SoZ to the Capital ?

I do not mean we tell them we are building SoZ !!! I mean we should build it in the best shield-producing city !!!

This make little sense because now, if we really want to, we can build SoZ in TF sooner than in the capital. IMO, I have explained how this can be done in great detail. Yet again there are voices to build SoZ in the capital. The issue has been discussed and voted and decision was made.

That's not what I meant. I mean the need to keep it secret we are building that Wonder at all cost has somewhat lost importance. Telling them outright is not my plan. But I agree that we will soon need to tell them something. But I don't know how to tell them nor what exactly to reveal and to keep hidden.

Perhaps down the line of "We have a luxury and soon 3 sources of it connected, Is C3B interested in a luxury?"

Alternative: "We have important news to tell you. We won't tell you right now; we'll tell you when our bond is stronger."

Or just plain and simple: "We are building the SoZ, due in XX turns. When CFC and C3B meet new civs we have an invasion force ready. Can C3B start building some Immortals to join a future war?"

I think that is exacoly what we should say.
 
We should decide, IMHO:

1) Disclose SoZ possibility of our team to C3B
2) Do not disclose SoZ possibility to C3B

If the poll turns out to be in favor of option 2), then we can discuss partial disclosure. However, IMO, it makes little sense. Because they are not stupid and already know the truth. It's not that hard to guess after all...

There is another suggestion for a poll (joke).

What is C3B asks us directly: "Are you building SoZ?"
1) Admit it
2) Do not admit and lie

I'd hope that 1) wins.

NEXT CHAT WITH C3B: 14:00 GMT ON SATERDAY! We never know where it will take place so just come to the isdg chat and ask me there. I wish we could use one of our embassys but E_T from APO and the other MSDG is always there. I asked him to leave once butthe said that he would be glad too but if he is disconnected he will autmoticly go into both of the embassyes. Anyone wanna make a chat just for the ISDG C3C?
