Term 4 Nominations for President

The President is responsible for control of the slider, worker allocation and resolving disputes between leaders, such as over use of gold. The President is also responsible for all tasks not assigned to another leader.

Please submit nominations for the President in this thread and Accept or Decline any nominations you may receive. Self nominations are allowed. Citizens may only run for one elected position.

Nominations will close and elections open 00:00 GMT on the 28 October (that’s 8pm EDT 27 October).

Thanks for the nomination Nobody, but I'm afraid i'll have to decline. Basically i'm declining for 2 reasons:

1) I really like Foreign Affairs, and would like another chance at being the head of the FA office again
2) I'm going away on vacation for the first week of November, and if I am president, I would like to be here for the first week of my presidency

So, I won't run for President this term, but maybe next term...

Instead, I nominate ravensfire and RegentMan.

I accept the nomination.

Fanatikos has flourished in my term, and has a bright, bright future. We have the opportunity to reap the benefits of massive development and preperation. The threats to us are still real, however, and we must remain cautious and prepared.

I've carried out my vision of the President's role - leadership, planning and preperation. I hope for one more term to continue that role, to continue to growth of our nation into a powerhouse, respected by all nations. Please consider my nomination as your decide who to be your President during Term 4.

I'm going to decline my nomination. This game is won, there is no challenge to it. Unlike some people, I see no fun in dragging the game on for another 4 months.

Civilization 4 Democracy game is launching soon anyway.
