TETurkhan Test of Time (Map & Mod)

well well, the ETA is over, and as predicted, nothing happened.
I guess you'll keep waiting for ever and ever and ever...
have fun.

Intead, I am really sorry for TET who spent such a huge quantity of time on this. I hope he'll reuse his project anyway to prove his skill for the job in computer gaming hes loking for.

Meh, I have other things to do than wait. I am working on my own mod.

Well, he'll probably restart the project later on, when he has time.

I think only the guys trolling and complaining are the ones sitting around waiting and doing nothing else. Me? I'm not waiting for it but if it's released complete or incomplete I'll be downloading and trying it out for sure. I have a business to run, so I can't just sit and wait. ;)

This mod looks great, and I'd really love to play it, but the program tries to install it to Infogrames Interactive folder, but my CIV III is in the Atari folder.
Normally, It 'd ask me about where to install it or unzip it, but this program doesn't have that option, it just tries to install it, can't find Infogrames Interactive folder, and quits.

What should I do?

Create the Infogames folder, then the Civilization III folder, and install. Then copy it over.

OK, but I was asked to post that by Jove and Mz Pantz

That's true. I haven't checked the thread in a while myself. I must've missed the start of the discussion back at page 75 or whatever... Anyway, I don't understand what is so upsetting about Romanian history. I'm personally fascinated with Eastern European history, and especially the pre-history. It's just so murky! Thanks for your reply!

If it's too controversial, maybe you can post a link or two and I can browse the information myself. Although it seems unlikely anyone will suffer permanent harm if you posted more interesting facts about Romania :) :p

You know, waiting isn't a physical activity, no one is 'wasting time' waiting for this. When it comes, it comes, and it will probably force me to take out my civ4 disk and go back to my good friend civ3.

am i the only one who continues to check this topic multiple times per week, even though nobody has posted in months?

No, I check multiple times a week as well. Tet's mod/schenario was so fantastic I continue to long to see the sequel. Just wish he'd either give out what he has already done, good, bad, incomplete or whatever, or sjust say he's given up/doesn't have time, and let us all rest in peace. In this case, no news is bad news.
It's just I"m kind of like a kid who's been promised this great toy but doesn't get it. Kind of hard to deal with, even if there are good reasons I don't know about why we at least can't get what's already completed. Oh well! His game, his life.

I check back whenever people reply.

So... TET will reply when his life clears up a bit for Civ.

As do I. I figure TET will post when there is something new to see. Otherwise I ignore the thread.

It still isn't out =o.

I can't find 2.0 anywhere =(

How dare he tempt us with a great mod then disappear forever?!?

Tet should get some sort of award for having the most threads with over a hundred posts.
He alone generates probably at least 10% of the traffic on this forum. (Hmm, maybe they should pay him!)
Anyways, I'll still be checking this thread when I'm forty.

Wait a second! That's this week! Criminy!

What's worse is that my oldest turned eighteen this week, too.

Piker! I am 42 and my two house wreckers are 5 and 3 respectively. I am still in the age of dependence and Daddy is God! You are in the age of independence and Dad is kinda slow! Anyway good luck man!:goodjob:

I only read the first few pages so i apolagize if this has been said already.
The 1.93 update is wrong, some of the units are being upgraded to earlier era units so its actually set to downgrade instead of upgrade:lol:

Edit: Also whats with some of the civs being able to build leaders from cities?
seems to give those civs a clear advantage.
