TETurkhan Test of Time (Map & Mod)

Welcome to CFC!

TETurkhan's latest version is for PTW. He said he was working on a C3C version, but he vanished before releasing it.
Yeah, I was just curious, heh. Test of Time is my favorite scenario.

Can I rephrase then? Which version is probably the most updated?
(My disk came with TET, (with cities), (starting position only), (Regular), and (Cities))

(I think Regular/Cities are the most updated, but I'm not sure.)

Hello.
I need your help about this mod. I have Civ3 Conquests 1.21. After downloading and updating this files:

http://www.civfanatics.net/~teturkha....66-update.exe
http://www.civfanatics.net/~teturkha...t1.66-full.exe
http://www.civfanatics.net/~teturkha....93-update.exe

I have some problems. There no a lot of units.
First problem:

Art\Units\Medieval Japanese Settler\Medieval Japanese Settler.ini NOT FOUND!
Art\Units\Medieval Japanese Worker\Medieval Japanese Worker.ini NOT FOUND!
Art\Units\Otomo No Makuta\Otomo no Makuta.ini NOT FOUND!

and other.

From the scenarios files(TETurkhan Test of Time (World Map).bix) i take a big list of units which i need.
Allready i found only dinos(in The Unit Library).

Who can help me and give me link for this units?

Are all the government types included?

I have the same problem with dinosaurs, I've already emailed TeTurkhan, But it seems like he will not answer :(

Welcome to CFC Batyrbek! [party]

Do you have CivIII Complete or CivIII Play The World? The units that are missing come along PTW's Extras folder. So you need either of those for the mod to work. Hope this helps. :)

I installed Civ3+civ 3 conq+civ 3 ptw. But they are pirate so I didnt find dinosaur in extra but I've found Japanese and some other units

Well that might be the reason. You should buy legal copies of the game for them to work properly. You can never know what viruses, errors or bugs there might be in a pirated version. And as everyone says, Pirating is a crime. :nono:

It is from Fargus, so there mustnt be a viruses, because Fargus is old, recommended pirate company

I've just downloaded Dinosaurs from Library and copied them into any possible places I could, so I enjoy playing arabians. I know how territories of Turkey, Persia, Egypt to the time 450 BC and going to take Greece and India - all because of some unfair type of cavalry - Ghazi warriors, they have enormous life "bricks" and can attack like tanks 3 times a turn.

I have a questions. Game have a lot of extra unique units like temlpars, etc - AI will build them and use them correctly? And what about Christian world? Do AI playing for them, try to get to Jerusalem?

Perhaps this mod will go down as one which took the longest to be released?

Just uploading mod files onto my new computer. I am not making any promises on release dates or anything for that matter. The only thing I will say is that I am working on it again.

Just backing up everything onto my new computer including all work on this mod. I am not making any promises on release dates or anything for that matter. The only thing I will say is that I am working on it again.

TETurkhan, this is great news. :):goodjob:

And your post allows me, to say you directly a big thank you for many, many hours of fun and pleasure your mod gave to me in former times. :hatsoff::thanx:

I would be happy to give any new version a spin as well should you put one out Teturkhan. I lost all my older versions of this when I had to reformat my hard drive, so all I have are the ones that came with my Civ 3 Complete version that I have now. :(

One thing I would say is look at how long the eras last. So many times playing this, the game is decided well before the Medieval period is finished. The ancient era seemed to take too long IMO. I have to say though, seeing some of those huge armies in the earlier versions of this come lumbering over with 60-80 HP was quite terrifying.

It's great to see you around, TETurkhan!

This is good news. I remember fondly the many hours I spent playing Test of Time when I first got PTW.

Greetings, TETurkhan. It was your magnificent mod that inspired me to break down and by a Windows box so that I could edit Civ3. For a dedicated Mac user, this was an enormous concession. I still keep using your Test of Time mod for ideas and inspiration.

WOW!!! This is very exciting news. I can't wait. Thanks, TET & welcome back.

So...is it true you found a way past the 31 civ limit?

Exactly which version number of this mod is on the Civ 3 Complete disc ? The readme describes two variants, but I'm seeing 5 BIX files - TETurkhan, TETurkhan Test of Time (Regular), TETurkhan Test of Time (Cities), TETurkhan Test of Time (start positions only) and TETurkhan Test of Time (with cities). Which one of them contains the Shofar Warriors and Ark of the Covenant as described in the Zion Ambition game write-up thread ? I'm not finding anything looking like an Ark of the Covenant in any of them in the editor.
