Step 1:

Find 2-3 T3 Purple spice
Planets

(Note: Each spice has a cap of how high it will sell for at max ,and how common it is. In order..

Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Pink, Purple

Step 2:

Terraform 2-3 purple spice planets to T2 ( If you want to bother with T3 and have the SOL, go for it )

Step 3:

Plop Uber turrets, Spice storage, buildings ( Depending on how your terraforming went, if you're to the point where you don't have to use the disposable asteroid buttons, etc, you might have more money )

( Uber turrets should be added at the end, when you're done and raking in the millions of dollars, otherwise they'll bankrupt you now )

Step 4:

Collect 30 purple spice from t3 planets. If you're doing this correctly, you'll be raking in 5-10 million sporebucks each 15 minutes.

Wasn't so hard now, is it?

Oh yeah, and you really should download patch 1.01 if you're reading this and don't have it. ( Uber turrets now work, ensuring that a planet with an uber turret can take care of a grox attack with only minor building losses and is impervious to pirate attacks )

Yeah uber turrets work, but tribal is destroyed. All tribes will go angry with you less than 60 seconds after gifting them.

The patch works for a couple of reasons, but breaks so much other stuff. :(

It's supposed to be harder. I like the change. Get them up to a blue face to prevent that.

I just went from Cell to Space over the week. Glad to see it's harder

Yeah blue face, so it takes 70 seconds to return to angry. Good one.

You know what? I really should try that once I get my 1 mill investment strategy in my new game up and running

Blue face does seem to be impervious to getting angry, if you're talking the 'normal' setting.

Wait did the Spice output get upped in the last patch? I've been noticing it going considerably faster than before.

Nope.

Just your brain playing tricks on you

Oh that's right I conquered a rival's capital planet.

Whats the best price anyone has got for spice?

Spice is capped at a max sell price. The spice with the highest cap is purple spice, which caps at around 75k

Arghhh deja vu! For you Dale and certain other posters I value your reviews greatly. Today I came here to check out how the fanatics felt about the game prior to buying it. Immediatly the game flew off my radar after reading about the malware aspects of it. Then the customer service threats bumped it a couple notches back, and a patch mess akin to Civ4 is enough to stop me from even attempting to track the game. I am so done with buggy belated patches.

Nothing is broken for me. It runs perfectly on a vista 64 bit system with q6600 and an 8800 gtx to boot.

I understand it's broken for some other people, But I have all my drivers and stuff up to date, and nothing broke for me.

This is a tough one to sort out. I've heard it all before with Civ4 and its expansions. Some are fine, others are not. I can only go with posters I've learned something about over the years. Some posters I've learned enough about over the years to really place my faith in... in regards to their judgements of things we may have in common. When there is disparity in opinion, I look for the opinions of those I know best. I can trust no-other, even Adam Sandler ;~), for any game review entity is subject to financial reward for positive (or at least not overtly negative) reviews. And so I must look to certain people in my history to really try and sort out if a game is quality or just a pay per quarter scheme.

Wat.

Anyways, I hate when things break. On other people's systems. It's frustrating because you know they work fine on your system, but you have no Idea what the other person has on his PC.
