Up North "Dorotheos" the Spearman acts as Emissary to Basil I venturing north towards the "Danube Valley" and beyond in hopes Christianity has expanded properly, this move strengthens Basil I sure to become Emporer of Byzantium

Basil I needs to keep his eye on the plot. He spends too much time playing around in boats. The messenger who arrived at our court with a despatch claiming he wanted us to respond to Basils message seemed to think he was talking to the Abbasids. I hope your boat is not heading south :lol:

(i.e. you don't send the turn to me, I didn't get it anyway so you probably just posted the wrong player)

It takes "Dorotheos" the Spearman 3 years to make on foot to the Great mountain range south of "Danube Valley" and realizes it will take generations, So he Prays for enlightenment. The words he receives is go home, gather followers so maybe his son's son make complete the journey.

Didn't have time before to note the strange civilization that we met to our north. They are called the Byzantines. Let's see what that means:

a. Of, relating to, or characterized by intrigue; scheming or devious: "a fine hand for Byzantine deals and cozy arrangements" New York.
b. Highly complicated; intricate and involved: a bill to simplify the byzantine tax structure.

Hmmm, more infidel scheming. As their book says By their deed you shall know them.

We have met both of our christian brothers and the heathen Norsemen to our north. Once we are strong perhaps we should look to converting the Heathen Norsemen to the true faith. It is the will of God that we spread his word. :worship:
