i hope you had fun playing !!! help please i really want to play this mod

Here are some units I think should be added in the next update:

Roman Centurion: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=80558

Roman Army: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=82525

Updated Roman Units already in the game, at least most of them....
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=64864

Could be a unit for the Scythians:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=65822

Roman Velite: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=93756

Celtic Chariot - should be the British UU: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=91034

Falx Swordsman - should be the Dacian UU: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=74469

These are just some - did not have more time to look around. One question though, I have not yet uploaded the 1.04 update. Have to check first if I have the 1.03 update first. Any possibility of making all these patches into 1?

I'm against the Roman army: Those coloured beads on his staff look unrealistic.

The Slavic Horseman is already in as Nordic Heavy Cavalry or something like that.

The Cletic Chariot ani is not good because it's too slow (at least in the preview, you could test it in game).

The Falx Swordsman looks much worse than the current Highlander animation for the very same unit.

I'm still finishing up some stuff that never got done and units are working thier way to the top of my todo list :) This is thamis' mod and his opinion carries more weight than anyone elses. I have noted the suggestions and see what i can do.

I'm not sure what versions you are talking about.

I'm confused, the most recent posted Conquest version of the TAM Mod is 2.4, which is listed at the first post (says MAC, but it is the Windows XP version as well). We are currently testing the next upgrade, and it will all be in one download. I think the most recent Vanilla civ version is 1.2, what is the 1.03/1.04 update you are mentioning?

EDIT: Crossposted with Watorrey, but what he said!

Sorry guys, think I confused myself. Last one I actually downloaded and applied was TAM for conquests, before had the Play the World version. That is all I have applied and what I am playing...

My question should have been, I downloaded 2.4 but as I download from work as its faster, burn it to cd and then apply it to the mod, can I wait until the next update is done and just load it and will it include the changes made in 2.3?

I would rather just update TAM once instead of 2.4 and then again when the new update comes out...

The lastest is TAM 2.4 (MAC) zip (which is actually for windows) from 1st post and then a 400kB update in post #827.

The newer version is going to be a while and it will be huge. I'm planning on finding server space to offer it as both a complete download and an update for 2.4. Since that may possibly add up to over 200 MB, i'm probably gonna have to pay for it.

FYI: we're working on rebalancing the stuff that C3C broke since it appears likely there will be no more C3C patches.

I am currently playing C3C with TAM 2.4, and I believe I have experienced a bug. I am playing as the Persians and am using the Theocracy government type. I just acquired the ability to build the pyramids, so I used a leader to rush the project. The pyramids are now built and I am still using the Theocracy government; however, I am not experiencing the effects of a granary in each city. I have also played through a number of turns to confirm this.

I have double checked this to the extent that:
-I have comfirmed that a granary has not appeared in the structures in any city that I had not already built a granary.
-That despite the previous fact, that indeed my cities are not experiencing the affects of a granary

If I can assit with screenshots and/or my saved game file, let me know.

Thank you,
KniteFlux

We know about that now and it will be fixed in the upcoming version.

In the meantime, you can edit your biq files to change it to a Great Wonder that adds granaries to all continental cities and requires Theocracy. This won't do your present game any good, but will work for a new one.

I have a question that isn't directly related to this scenario, yet kinda is. How or why is this scenario set so that the musics come up in a different order than the regular game?

The Roman song is always first.

I was wondering this because I would like to be able to do it for some of my other stuff.

By the way, great mod :)

while playing v. 2.4 for romans i found that broadswordsman does not upgrade to longswordsman as it was in v. 2.3. having broadswordsman and legionaries in a builtlist at the same time looks very strange.

if it's bug, how can i edit my saves?

I'm tired of my own mod(Even though I have a expansion planned and need to playtest it to get the Industrial and Modern Era bugs removed) and am shopping around for a new mod to play for awile, is this mod good?

Some new units that would add alot for the mod:

-Maccabee: Dom Pedro II's unit is really good

-The Arabic Spearman and Swordsman, Riptide's units are quite good and would add alot to the mod

-Kinboat's new Egyptian Warrior, Spearman, Archer, Monk and Axeman would add ALOT to the Egyptians reprotoare.

It's a fabulous mod. Try it.

Just a little something on the road graphics :

I think they are very hard to see ! :scan: The brown really dissapears on many types of terrain, like forest. Imperial roads are much more visible.

Who agrees?

What would be a better colour, not interfering with terrain, black? Other shade of brown (lighter? darker?)

love the mod btw.
