The Ancient Mediterranean MOD

NO, not a "SpaceShip", that victory is not even listed in the game.

BTW: Christianity had the movie of the atomic bomb - ironic?

OK, that is fine - I like the idea of the religious victory... :)

But should it "work"? I am still playing on...

(noble, Germania:
87 turns left - I am attacking Rome and leading in score by a notch,
but Dido sensed it and attacked me in South France and Iberia,
I have to be careful... :)...)

there are always places on the skinmap that are not shown on the 3d-model.
it should be enough if the transparent area is 1px x 1px

Notarzt could you explain me in german per PM why i should add one transparent pixel to that skinmap!? i realy dont know what result it should bring.

The Immortal is a bit too pink for me (make him slightly darker purple, and reduce the saturation). I like the Iron Age swordsman. And we already have a (better) Celtic Swordsman.

Thanks a lot!

Allright, i didn't knew that a celtic swordsman is allready made. Yes i will change some things at the immortal. I am glad that you like the Iron Age swordsman, i tried to make some Teamcolor at his shild.. result was an invisible frontside but a skinned backside of the shild. I think Teamcolor is not aviable at Weopons or Shilds. I'll try to make a bronze or copper one. maybee bronze plate male and bronze sword and bronze shild (would be great!!)

Awesome idea! But... I would slightly change the categories:

- European (Celts, Iberians, Goths, Dacians, Scythians, Illyrians)
- Greco-Roman (Mycenae, Rome, Carthage, Lydia)
- Egyptian (Egypt, Nubia)
- Mesopotamian (Babylon, Phoenicia, Hittite, Persia, Media)

If you need help with these, feel free to email to the TAM-Dev group.

Yes i need help, i could not do that by myself. But i think includeing this idea makes the mod something special.

The map i made:
I did not work on her since i presented the first picture of it. Is there anybody who wants to work on it? Theres much work left on the map, I would include rivers with MapView. And change some terrain. But there need to be a person who fullfill the Map.

Edit: BTW: I think Nubia needs an own artstyle, they'are looking like people from somolia, so not similar to egypts or lybians.

- Do you know the merchanary mod!? It would be great to hire merchanarys of other civis, if you have much gold, cause you are a comercial civi which build markets and noth strong offensive troops, you could hire mercanarys for a war at your neighbor. Such as egypt or other great empires in the past.

No, please no one change the map! Last time a user made changes to the map he used the worldbuilder and I had to spend half an hour fixing it up by deleting all the extraneous things the worldbuilder added!

@Mercenary Mod:
I'll look into it, sounds interesting.

@Map:
If would be preferrable if we all used the BMP2WBS converter with the BMP images... WorldBuilder is a horrible tool to edit maps.

@Mercanary Mod:

@Map:
Mapview is much better for Rivers, only in WorldBuilder you can decide which type of forrest you want to have. New Bonus Resources only appear in the WorldBuilder. Cause i make rivers in Mapview i have to set the floodplains in the Worldbuilder. I added my huge map. there are no rivers set! Also we must add resources, change terrain in some parts of the map and add coast, that you dont havte to sail one time around the mediteranean sea. I think i did not placed the forrest with bmptowbs so accurate.
I add it to the FTP and anyone else could work on if he wants to. cause it doesn't make sence to let this file sleep while time is wasteing.

If you set your image to the same number of pixel without anti-aliasing, you can change all the terrain type as you want them, and there shouldnt be no problems but human caused bugs;) the flood plains can also be adjusted trough it. For the new ressources and the forest type, someone would have to rewrite the WBS conv. for us;)

Mapview or WB or anything else will not work with this mod because of the new resources we have. I have been writing everything by hand in notepad.

OK - moving on to the next massive civilopedia project - the tech tree. I need quotations for many techs. I'd very much appreciate suggestions. The full list of techs needing quotes follows. Some could potentially use the same quote as another tech if we can't come up with enough different ones.
