Does the reverse if not running Free Speech or if your Saudi Arabia or Qatar.

Websense- Blocks the Maddox Webpage but not the book. Can only be built under a Free Speech civic

Sorry... couldnt resist the bushbashing trance -.-
And since I dont really know what 3.0 GPA is, I might have a problem understanding that last post... Translate please.

GPA is "grade point average", and the 4 point GPA scale is the most commonf grading scale used in the US. 3.0 would essentially mean a "B" average in all your courses. This would be roughly equivalent to a "2" if you are familiar with German grading, and I beleive that it corresponds to roughly a 9 or maybe a 10 on the Danish scale.

In Bush's case, his undergraduate/bacchelors GPA at Yale was 2.35, which would be about a 7 or 8 in the Danish system.

Texas supercollider: Promises a +50% :science:, but after two turns it is cancell by senate so it gives your city a hole and -2billion $

Existing wonders should be penalized, too!
  • The Great Pyramids: -5000 :culture: after ~75 turns because of archeology, produces a Spy named "Lara Croft" in the Modern Era which topples over immediately, resulting in death and a possible earthquake
  • Chichen Itza: also produces a Spy named "Lara Croft" in the Modern Era, but the extra defense decreases the possibility of an earthquake
  • The Hanging Gardens: random intervals of losing 1 citizen, because the gardens sometimes fall
  • Forbidden Palace: no friendly unit is allowed to step on the city where this wonder is built, lose 1 citizen per turn
  • The Kremlin: with Slavery, +5  "You were planning on whipping us!"

Piracy: +1  from all Artists Specialists. Great Artists go not Produce Great Work.
The Simpsons: +5 Culture, +3 :), Units cry "D'Oh!" everytime they die.
Apple iPod and iTunes: +2  per 100 Culture "We hate DRM!"
Linux: No Anarchy in State.
300: +10% Culture per lost unit in Classical Age.

Finally, a useful Chichen Itza!

One more:
  • Great wall 228  in every city under Slavery ( "I'm tired of being whipped!") ; Under Police State + State property : 200 :) ( "Gives me :gold: ") + +105 :culture: in 3 nearby cities ( " We can see it from space! ") + 20 :gold: in every city ( "Let's rip the wallets of those stupid capitalist pigs" ) -1 citizen in every city every 3 turns due to "maintenance costs"

I know this is a funny thread, but on a more serious Civ 4 basis, couldn´t several of these anti-wonders actually be part of the game as possible random events. Several of them could also be possible negative effects of the regular wonders and buildings. I would like more unpredictability and events to the game.

- American Foreign Policy- (any civ which builds it) automatically declares war on Any Country which adopts Communism or Islam, no war weariness

And hey I found this on Apoloyton forums: =))
US automatically attacks any Civ that adopts communism or Islam.

US has to donate one tenth of all new weapons produced to any state with the Jewish religion

China discovers every tech until rocketry and discards them all in midgame

Germany has to burn its own palace in order to declare war

All England's spies periodically disappear and turn up in Russia

@Tekee
No, don't copy from Apolyton!

(keeping oblivious to everything else :D)
Great books turned wonder (like the Art of War in Civ3):
  • To Kill a Mockingbird: anarchy, units get randomly lynched by bird watchers
  • War and Peace: causes Napoleon to declare war on builder
  • Lolita: +4000 :culture: in Japan, +1 :) in all cities with The Internet
...among other things:

  • The Sphinx: +25% :science:, -75% city growth rate, produces barbarian lions every turn
  • The Washington Monument: -5 "You plagiarized us!" from Egypt
  • Empire State Building: a barbarian gorilla with 40 :strength: named "King Kong" is generated
