The Capo's LH Gallery and Self-Help Thread!

nice start. I'll still see what i can salvage frm the other one.

Yeah, please do. I wanted to use the hair from Chuggi's actually but I can't seem to import it into Blender for some reason. So if you can somehow fix it so that I can that would be really helpful because I actually think Chuggi's hair and mustache look better than the ones I am using (in any event the hair I have is too dark in my opinion) so I would appreciate that. This is a work in progress, and since I am trying to make the definitive Hitler here I am going to take my time on it.

I will leave regular updates though because I know about the interest in this LH, and I like to get ideas from other people so by giving updates on my progress I might get some advice I myself would not have thought of.

Looks very good

Of course I think the original looks good, infact it's near perfect. I'm just curious why you tweaked the original version, which was already high quality and looks pefectly fine as is next to the official Firaxis leaderheads anyway.

Which one is the "original" that you are referring to? I don't get it.

The one that's used in the Wolfshanze mod, is what I"m reffering to. I'm just saying the leaderhead that mod uses (and by extension the leaderhead my mod uses) looks really good as is, I don't see any need to improve it. More power to you for doing so though, I'm just surprised and was wondering why you saw the need to.

Oh the one NikNaks made? Well I thought the arms looked strange and it was based on Napoleon. The Franco I have (also made by NikNaks) is based on Napoleon too. So if/when I made a WWII scenario for my mod there will be two napoleon-based leaders, which I thought wasn't a good thing. I also have Robert the Bruce and Dom Pedro in my mod who are based on Napoleon as well. That's why.

And people also requested this.

Although I think that there are already far enough Hitlers, and there are better guys then him worth working on their LH, your version looks rally good. It's in-deed the best Hitler so far!

Hey, I was planning on using the hood from CFK's Dr. Doom LH but I can't seem to import it into Blender at all. Does anyone know why this wouldn't import? It said there was a python script error, but the error was unknown so I can't figure out how to get it to work. I was going to use this hood for a very cool LH concept, but I can't make it the way I wanted to without that hood. So if someone could help me figure this out that'd be awesome.

Thanks in advance.

Alternatively, you could try to mess with a hood mesh from Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (or any number of mods for that game). That's where the armor used on the popular Joan of Arc and the new King Arthur came from. In general, I think that game (and/or mods for it) have a ton of useful resources that could be of use to leaderhead makers.

Unfortunately I don't have that game or any way of getting the parts from it. Thanks for the suggestion though. I planned the LH around using the hood and cape from Dr. Doom, so hopefully someone could help me figure a way around this problem, I asked CFK if he could send me a blend, so maybe that'll help.

Very nice Hitler, very realistic. I love it.

usually that import error means he modified it in nifskope. One way around this (I think) is to take a body part nif from my bodyparts library (I recall that you have it). it has parts with no bones. open one of those then open dr doom. remove the skinstance node from Dr doom's hood. and then copy the whole node into the boneless body part nif. then try to import it. it should have no bones and get you where you need to go. I think i did something like this before.

I think this Hitler LH looks really good and professional, but Nik_Naks' is still better, only because Pencilgod reskinned it. Anyway, I hope this really puts to rest those Hitler requests, so you and other LH makers can move on to more worthy LH who can be used in regular games and not only in scenarios.
Really looking forward to your next leaderheads!!!
