I'm getting pretty frustrated with the endless scrolling bug. It seems pretty common, but of you haven't had to deal with it, what happens is the camera scrolls endlessly in a random direction immediately after you end your turn. It wasn't a problem (for me) until installing G&K.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this bug?

I usually press the arrow key in the opposite direction whenever the screen starts doing that.

It's really annoying, but it's technically not "endless" scrolling (for me, at least). I find that it stops scrolling somewhere in the fog of war.

That bug has bothered me since the patch close before the release on G&K, I also had trouble with it in Vanilla. I find it really annoying.

Hmm I have this also and my PC spanks civ v... it seems to only happen when you are scrolling the map when turns are ending

I despise this so much. Firaxis have done a very good job with civ V imo but it's frankly unacceptable that they still haven't fixed this issue after weeks; for the price of the expansion it should be a given for this issue and others to be resolved ASAP. Other major issues, like units paths being reset whenever a unit in the fog of war is on the tile, no matter how far away, and being forced to another unit half way through giving commands to another have, haven't been adressed either.

Your PC probably is just so weak, that it won't stop for a long time to scroll after you've moved your mouse away from the screenedge.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I've got a great rig and this happens to me every game post-G&K. It happened almost every turn till I trained myself to take my hand off the mouse after hitting the end turn button.

Agreed.

Yeah, all of these issues are really irritating. I'd like to think there's a patch coming up relatively soon since the game has now been out for a month.

Happens to me, too, and I have an overclocked Phenom 6-core w/ 16GB of DDR3 and dual HD 5850s. By no means a weak PC

I have this bug too but it seems it only affects when I play scenario's luckly, but you know why firaxis hasen't fixed it. It's because they have such big hi-tech and expensive computers they only fix bugs on those type of computers and completely forget about people with less hi-tech computers.

It happened to me a couple of times, but turning off the "full screen" option in the game settings resolved the issue. Of course, now I can't scroll at all without clicking & dragging (or clicking on the mini-map), but such is life.

I experiencing this occasionally, but have no clue about its cause...
Anyways since it stops on next turn, I'm getting over with it.

This bug isn't related to the computer system. We have reported this bug at civforum.de already (we have our own firaxis member to report to, now! :) Hail Lena!).

The bug could be reproduced by her and is therefore confirmed and registered. I hope, firaxis will find time to fix it in the next patch, as the bug is very annoying!
