Or you know...had an operation:rolleyes:

Naw, that's not how perfect beings would like her to prove to them that she can take on the task.
You know nothing of perfect beings.

I have to agree with MobBoss here. I still love Gary Oldmans line:
"If they were real soldiers, they'd ask what the red button does."

Jean Baptist Emanuel ZORG

"You're a monster, Zorg!"

"I know..."

Never watched it...

You can add my voice to the overwhelming support of this film!

This movie is entertaining for the slap stick and the sets, but not as a scifi movie and DEFINETLY not for the characters or acting.

I like sci-fi, but couldn't be bothered to finish this one. I even love bad taste (like John Waters) but this film doesn't even deliver on that level imo. I've never understood why, aside from Milla Jovovich half naked for the duration, this film is so loved.

We just can't agree on anything, can we? :mischief:

Oh come on, are you really going to tell me that if I divorced the characters from those pretty CGI sets and clothes IN THE FUTURE would you find any of them something other than cookie cutter knockoffs with dialogue that makes you cringe? Seriously?

Hell, they didn't even have a main bad guy that made sense. What was its motivation? What was it exactly? Why the hell did it care about earth?

Even more importantly, why was Zorg helping it? What was their common motivation. I mean, Zorg is a captain of industry on EARTH. Why the hell would he be interested in destroying EARTH? The movie sure as hell doesn't tell you why.
