The flying caravel

I had a caravel in one of Justinian's cities, Angora. He declares war on me and suddenly my caravel ends up in a japanese lake. Anything like this ever happened to you?

i thought that caravels didnt get "pushed" from enemy territory because of a war because they can go through enemy space

Caravels can go through enemy territory but not travel through enemy cities.
Are you patched up to 3.17? I think that might be a bug that was fixed later.

Yes. Its 3.17 and with the HOF mod loaded.

Looks like that was the problem. Since it was in the city when he declared war, the game threw it out (if it didn't, then the city would be his...automatically).
