The Fortress - Another ArrowNES

My decisions are quite good. It is that just you and Milaqui dominate the game, no one else has anything to do, so everyone gets bored and starts to quit.

I was in fact thinking about killing it because if the very reasons outlined here.

At the same time, though, I was going to introduce some problems with the home world as well as another civilization next update, and let it be known the creature in the chasm isn't done yet. I feel the main problem is lack of players and lack of participation from people who are playing, but my poor modding skills are also very much to blame.

In any case, as for the multi-colony idea: that's not what this NES is about. It's instead about working together to survive and strive, and having to convince one another.

Finally: Christos. No one person can dominate this game. That's the whole point. Just because no one got behind your ideas because they were, quite frankly, terrible doesn't mean everyone won't get get behind other ideas.

@ Arrow Gamer, you should take a page from Immaculate's book and have a horrifying world. Start us on a frozen horrifying zombie tundra.

But that doesn't make any sense.

Who starts a colony on a frozen zombie infested land?

Unless the entire world is like that, in which case the question arises: how the hell did anyone become prosperous enough to start a colony?

Well, after some thinking, I've decided:

This NES is dead. It was fun, but also rather pointless and poorly run.

I will be starting a sequel, probably titles something depressing like "the mines of hell" about a mining outpost in a godforsaken northern hell hole which is freezing and perhaps zombie infested. The good news is that we'll have a map, provided by Terrance888. The bad news is that you will probably all die, due to it being far, far harsher than this version.

Look for it tomorrow/Wednesday!

I would join this.

Aww.

Will probably join the next one though.

I find this had a good run fwiw. Gj Arrow Gamer.

What do you think?

Notes:
Things can be renamed
Not every cave is on the map
Land south of the Sentinel and the Greenbacks are easier to settle, but worth much less
Land near the fabled "Unobtainium" are potentially Kingdom-making, but also more dangerous
This is a very cold place

EDIT: There is a nice valley/plain area between Break Back Ridge and the Pine Lake. Although it's probably rougher on the ground, that might make a good agricultural settlement or fall back point.

Maybe we could have two or three different colonies, and they could collaborate between each other or compete for the favors of the King. :D And each of the players would be randomly assigned to one of the three colonies.

Possibly. That can also increase interest.

I was going to say what I would do, but that would be unfair. I am co-mod after all.

The map isn't to perfect scale, but on perfectly flat land I would assume 3-5 tiles per day.
