Well my last name is Tersigni. (For all you non-italian speaking people, it's prounced ter-see-nee.) But, I'm not so sure I want that.

The reason why I used many place names is because when Italian immagrants came to America, many of them were given the last name as where they came from.

But, I am welcome to all suggestions. I may be making the mod, but it's really the users mod. I mean there going to be the one who uses it.

unusual name you have... but then again, it is sicilian!

yes that is true about the place name surnames, BUT, some italians didn't even immigrate to america legally. anyway, what about a patronic name like "d'Antonio"...mmm, actually that isn't sicilian. the names normally end in "u" in sicilian. so what about "Cuccureddu" or something?

ps. ice2k4, do many italian-americans in their 20s or 30s actualy speak their forefathers' dialect? like, do you know any sicilian at all?

Ehh, most italians are third-generation and not as many speak it. I speak Sicilian and I'm learning proper Italian in school.
