I would, and with France under English rule, it would work. Only need to get the mission thought, which is apparently not easy.

OK, EU4 crashes on launch from Steam. This is literally the first time I ever had a problem like this and it only showed up today. -.-
Restarted steam, closing processes with task manager. I'm currently verifying game cache, googling shows it is probably a mod problem. I have currently unsubscribed to all mods but it's still crashing. After I have verified my files, if it still crashes I will try reinstalling the game, in that case we'll be a little delayed.

I'll post a reply to this thread asap with an update of what's going on and potentially noting a launch delay.

Also I'll post in the thread as soon as I've managed to start up a lobby.

EDIT: While I don't disagree, England's designed and balanced to lose the provinces, while France is designed and balanced to gain them.

France is balanced to get ALL the provinces , it wouldn't hurt if an English king would halt their advance...

I wonder if they will ever bring that AI fear thing from stellaris, that pushes fearful countries into long lasting alliances against over aggressive empires... that will stabilize the blobing so well (thought it might lead to early world wars...)

If you think France with England's continental provinces is ridiculous, that is, the provinces France is supposed to get, you should try to play England with England's continental provinces. Because that game is going to be a joke. (At least in single player. I expect multiplayer to be different.) I am serious - I did it as Scotland as one point, which meant a 250 year delay and it was still ridiculous.
