The Hunter Biden Thread

The Washington Post ran a story about Hunter and his dad the P.O.T.U.S. two days ago.

Noreika also noted that “on March 22nd, 2018, you received a million dollar payment into your Owasco bank account as payment for legal fees for Patrick Ho.”

The Post previously had reported Biden received a $1 million retainer, issued as part of an agreement to represent Patrick Ho, a CEFC official who would later be charged in the United States in connection with a multimillion-dollar scheme to bribe leaders from Chad and Uganda.

Noreika appeared confused by this arrangement, noting that Hunter Biden was of counsel to a law firm at the time, but it appeared this payment was not related to that work. He clarified that the payment was to what he described as his own law firm. Noreika asked: “So you had your own law firm as well?”

Biden replied that he thought a corporate entity he had created, Owasco P.C., “acted as a law firm entity.” But then he added: “I believe that’s the case, but I don’t know that for a fact.”

Wow, Hunter got paid $1 million, not to represent Patrick Ho in court as his lawyer, but for general U.S. legal advice and introductions.

Patrick must not have been introduced to any good lawyers by Hunter, because Patrick was convicted by a Manhattan jury in 2018 of handing out million dollar bribes in Africa to high ranking government officials.

How is that even a crime in the USA?

Anyway, a disgrace for the former Secretary of Home and Youth Affairs of Hong Kong for 5 years.

After Hunter told the judge about these payments, the WaPo had to give President Biden 4 pinnochios for telling a lie in the 2020 Presidential debate.

But the fact remains that Biden, during the debate, denied his son had made money in China. In court last week, his son has said he earned hundreds of thousands of dollars from Chinese business deals.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has named a special counsel in the Hunter Biden case.

Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday appointed a special counsel to oversee the investigation into Hunter Biden amid intense criticism from Republicans that the Justice Department has handled the case unfairly.

Garland elevated U.S. Attorney David Weiss of Delaware to special counsel status, weeks after a plea deal for President Joe Biden’s son related to a tax case fell apart

The walls are closing in.

Special counsel finds nothing other than some side show they have to deal with once investigated like unpaid parking ticket.

Hunter Biden, the President's son, has been indicted.

These are the charges: The three-count indictment was handed up Thursday by a federal grand jury in Delaware, according to court filings.

Count One accuses Hunter Biden of lying on an ATF form when he bought the gun, by falsely swearing that he wasn’t addicted to illegal drugs or using illegal drugs.

Count Two accuses Hunter Biden of lying to the federally licensed gun dealer in Wilmington where he bought the gun. The alleged lie was related to the same sworn statement on the ATF form.

Count Three accuses Hunter Biden of illegally possessing a gun while using drugs or being addicted to drugs, which is a federal crime. He possessed the gun for 11 days in 2018.

The House of Representatives have also started an impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

The Speaker wanted to collect more evidence first before starting the inquiry, but he was probably going to lose his job if he didn't jump the gun a bit this week.

Here is the CNN fact check.

Claim: Biden family and associates got $20 million through shell companies.
“Bank records show that nearly $20 million in payments were directed to the Biden family members and associates through various shell companies,” McCarthy said.
Facts First: This is true about Joe Biden’s family and associates, but there is no public evidence to date that the president personally received any money.

Well, ok then

Maybe there are some clues in the 5400 emails Joe Biden sent out under pseudonyms.

From the DoJ during a Democrat's administration? (Mostly)Republicans are trying to overturn that statue in court right now.

Would think GOP would be furious about the background check

Bills passed to change or dictate the outcome of a current trial/investigation for a done act are one of the most consistently ruled unconsitutional things in the republic. But yeah, I wouldn't put anything past Matt Pedogaetz.

Hunter Biden has been indicted again!

LOS ANGELES, Dec 7 (Reuters) - The Department of Justice on Thursday filed new criminal charges against U.S. President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, accusing him of failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes while spending millions of dollars on a lavish lifestyle.

Hunter Biden, 53, was hit with three felony and six misdemeanor tax offenses, according to an indictment filed in U.S. District Court, Central District of California.

He faces up to 17 years in prison if convicted. The Justice Department said its investigation into Biden is ongoing.

Hunter Biden has skipped a Congressional subpoena.

He now faces what Steve Bannon got.

And what Navarro got.

Will he be allowed to draw his own courtroom sketches? At $75,000 a pop I think if they were to be sold off by the government it would be nice to soften the deficit sting a little.
