The hunting things with Axe challenge

So, some of you consider hunting a sport, some not.

I would consider hunting a sport -- but not with guns. Because with guns, the animals have no chance to fight back and win. Now a REAL sport would be hunting game with a battle-axe. How far up to do you think you get in this challenge(you succeed before you got owned by the animal). You can use ambush and stealth/ninja tactics but you cannot use anything except an axe for combat purposes.

1. Hunt a squirrel(with an axe)
2. Hunt a rabbit(with an axe)
3. Hunt a fox(with an axe)
4. Hunt a coyote(with an axe)
5. Hunt a wolf(with an axe)
6. Hunt a Puma(with an axe)
7. Hunt a Bear(with an axe)
8. Hunt a Great White shark(with a knife in the water(because an axe is too heavy to carry)).
9. Go back in time and hunt an adult T-rex(with an axe)

Past a certain point ( 500 lbs?) I think a gun makes it fair

EDIT: A cape buffalo I was hunting once nearly killed me. I had to literally run out of the way.

One on one, I'd go against all of them up to a wolf. I've fought off a 110 pound dog sans weapon. A Single wolf with an Axe is no problem, ..... though wolves are not known to roam alone.



Either way, the concept is silly, spear (Javelin really) is much more realistic and effective.

I guess a spear or javelin is okay as long as its not a gun or a bow/arrow or some sort of long-range missle weapon.

I could make an exception with a bow and arrow of course because its not nearly as good as a rifle.

An axe would be unwieldy. I like my chances with a sword against a wolf.

With an axe, I'd get up to coyote/wolf-ish (depending on what sort of axe), with a spear and shield, defeating a mountain lion is within the realm of possibility.

Pumas aren't really interested in taking on humans, so that'd be boring.
