The "I Got A New Game!" Thread

yeah and the worst part being that they snipe you with bazookas:rolleyes: on the other hand it makes the game just a tad more badass than it is already.

Fun test: try and sit in the copula in a tank in either bf:'42 or bf:V:p

haha not to mention SA-7s

I played it on 'impossible', three of them had sa-7s, not kidding, 200m from me, and they shot like 7 shots and every one whizzed by my face...

I got Battlefield Heroes recently. It's pretty fun, but the game rounds are soooo short! :(

Heh, when I last played the rounds were much too long because people got bored or there were too few people for the map sizes they had.

Sems like BFH lost my e-mail and want to re-send a verification thingy.

Yahoo Mail freezes my internets.

Have to make a new account i guess

Bought Virtua Tennis 2009 for the Wii with the Wii Motion Plus as well. Very enjoyable so far, even if the World Tour is a huge grind fest.

Also bought Star Fox 64 & Kirby's Adventure (sister's choice) on the Virtual Console. Just as fun as I remember it :D

Got Battlefield 1943 off PSN a few hours ago. Plenty of fun there. I'll get bored of it eventually though.

You havent had any problems? None of my friends have been able to so much as start a game.

I finished Call of Juarez 2. Probably the first game ever to make me tear up. If you've played Call of Juarez 1, you know the event that made Ray turn from an outlaw to a preacher man and it was depicted.

HoI 2

But no combat odds that I can see, so the combat is confusing and frustrating atm

In HoI 2 you pretty much need to use the 'poke method' as we say in russian. After a while you learn which units work against which, but for the most part, you need to watch the combat and see how well its going. Just know that attacks from multiple directions are good, attacking accross rivers is bad, attacking fortified divisions is bad, and attacking forts is very bad.

VoIP doesn't work properly in the game, it goes on and off. Other than that it's been pretty plain sailing.

Got Twilight Princess for my Wii today. I've played it a couple of hours now and i'm certainly not blown away, but it's kinda fun though.

Twilight Princess was really nice but I stopped at the second fishing game, which was very frustrating.

I've just reinstalled SC4 and Rush hour and yes, even after 5 years, it's still awesome.

heh, interestingly enough I reinstalled sc4 too. I got the game like 2 years ago but so far have maybe played an hours worth. Compared to SC3k and 2k, its a lot harder to get into. Yet, I have that extreme builder urge and OTTD just isnt satisfying it anymore.

I just rediscovered Terranigma. It blows Illusion of Gaia out of the water and the music is amazing.

I love old SNES rpgs :D

I got EU3: Napoleon's Ambition as well as In Nomine! :D

...I'd share my AAR with the Paradox forums, but, y'see, they suck apparently. It's been three days since I registered and they still haven't seny my confirmation e-mail.

I've been playing Sacred 2 Fallen Angel. If you can't wait for Diablo 3 and played countless hours of Diablo 1 and 2, I think it's a good game with plenty of content. The storyline is useless, the gameplay is a action RPG hack and slash, you either like the style or not. I always liked these games because of the amount of content, loot, customization, just STUFF and replayability involved.
