What are some good free foreign-language European news archives? Im ready to give another shot at this but its hard to find them in English Google. Preferably going back to the 1970s or 80s and hopefully holding stuff on "my subject" (if you dont know what this means, look at my avatar/sig and try to take a hint).

Nope. Which doesn't change the fact that English is objectively irrational.

I confirm, as one with comprehension of French, Latin, and Greek, and having read several grammar books, and having a mum who teaches English to foreigners, that English is thoroughly odd.

But you certainly can express yourself in a plethora of ways. Plus, the ambiguity of most Engilsh words allow for a deeper level of understanding, seen in the multitude of poems written in English.

Sure. All things considered, I'd still pick English as the language to use. I just caution other people to not try to treat it as though it were logical.
