I thought ROP rapes always resulted in rep hit, regardless of who declared war... am I wrong?

If you are in their territory and YOU declare war, you get a rep hit for ROP rape.

If you are in their territory and THEY declare war, you do not get a rep hit: it's not your fault they declared war with your units in their territory.

That would be pretty mean.

I always find it tons of fun to capture, and disband workers right way. But the AI does it to me too! And it's super mean!

I've done that when they piss me off. I send a large stack, raise their capital to the ground, and disband all the workers created by it one by one, so I can watch them die. Makes me feel better about them pissing me off and I can usually make peace after taking a couple more cities.

I don't think they realize I did that because they pissed me off, so they probably didn't learn their lesson.

once i hadn't got enough nuclear subs to carry nukes to the greek shores.
i was producing to many, so instead of their metros just nuked lot of pesky little tundra cities.

in the other game, in TeTurkhan test of time i went with MA through siberia and cleaned it off all those size 1 cities, of whatever countries they were, to speed up game a little

and other time, when one of the AI was down to 1 surrounded city i just went and killed all their units that were in range (some revenge, not to get leader) and then i took that city

I really can't be mean to AI he is always mean to me even when I try to make him declare war on me by risky espionage missions I always get the missions done successfully (tip : don't ever let hamuraby play against you

I'm playing on a 2 continent game and I was the first to reach the other continent where the Russians, Indians and Aztecs were. I traded the Mayans printing press and then turned around and sold communications to everybody else making the tech worthless. Made a nice tidy profit on it too.

Destroyed the Aztecs totally to the ground except for 2 empty galley's...
They have no city, no income, nothing...

On a regular base requesting the world map so they still have some use to me

Sometimes i just research it to get 50gpt from each AI. Then they go into anarchy, so i get an even bigger lead.

i took all of my enemy's cities but one, signed peace, gifted all cities to him and took them again. XD
