The GUNS refuses to confirm rumors that the ominous music has something to do with our brand new army and air force. Which seem to have dissapeared from their barracks and air fields. Come to think of it, where did our navy go...?
In a surprise assault, Chile finds itself under fire from GUNS.
150 Divisions, 400 Air Wings, and 400 Ships strike Chile.
The navy is swiftly eradicated, killing 3 GUNS ships.
With that done, the 400 ships fire inland, killing 14 Chilean divisions.
The 400 airwings take off from their carriers, and swiftly butcher the 26 remaining Chilean forces. They lose
96 air wings do the job, and 13 are lost.
The Chilean War lasts only a month, with the losses being 410,000 Chilean soldiers, 32,000 GUNS soldiers, and 1.9 million Chilean civilians. 5.71 million Chileans come under GUNS rule. 25 provinces occupied.
Most importantly, at 97000 GDP, GUNs far outpaces any of its competitors.
That in mind, anyone else in favor of ending MP with GUNS declaring an economic victory? As he will have enough money to destroy the entire world come next turn, there is not much that can be done against this new superpower. Italy ranks in at 47000 GDP, and only has 60% of the revenue GUNS can muster.
They sky was obscured by Cloud, and a torrent of rushing rain. It was a miserable day. Of course, the miserable weather would not stop much, and the day would soon become a lot more miserable, in a very different way. But a few people were heartened by the weather. Clouds and rain were good at preventing people looking up. And people who didn't look up wouldn't see the bombers overhead.
But before the bombers came, a small group of Helicopters would lead the way. The 4 choppers formed a rough V shape as they struggled through the sky, carrying aboard the instruments that would bring death to the traitors ahead. The small attack force would not be able to take ground, or hold it, but their task was so much simpler than that.
The port could be seen now as a vauge dark patch where the waves met the ground. It was nothing to look at, with no special features or distinguishing marks. For all intents and purposes it was practically meaningless. What was not meaningless was a small shape, indistingiushable from the water, sitting at quietly by the shore.
Silent Death was true to it's name now, a silent shape at the edge of a silent town, where nobody should look for it. Unfortunately for the crew of the ship, somebody had looked for it, and they had found it. And now, somebody else would be arriving to do something more permanent than just look.
The Helicopters swept in at low altitude now, and 3 of them touched down within 30 meters of the black shape in the water. The squads they held poured out, and began the final sprint towards the rogue submarine. Noises from within were drowned out by the sound of helicopter blades, but everyone knew the time for stealth was over.
The commandos swarmed through the Submarine, showing neither hesitation or mercy to the crew within. It was more or a massacre than a fight, and within minutes the entire crew lay dead. The Silent Death had been cleansed, the Missiles it carried accounted for. "Amplifier One, Target Secured. Ready to begin Phase 2 of the Operation"
The GUNS government has launched an attack on Chile, declaring to have information that Chile is harbouring nuclear terrorists in the form of the Submarine SIS-003. "Such a reigime, supporting as it does the enemies of the GUNS, is considered hostile, and actions taken against it before it's insidious plans can do harm to our nation are considered to be self defence.
In addition, we now have the ability to sweep the nation clean of any other terrorist groups that may be hiding there, with or without the consent of the government. This is our first major contribution to the global fight against terrorism, and any nation interfering shall be classified as an ally of terrorism and treated accordingly.
In other news, the Submarine SIS-003 has been recovered by GUNS troops in the opening stages of the attack. This PUB-aligned submarine had expressed hostility to several free nations of the world, GUNS included, and having possession of various Weapons of Mass Destruction should have been expected to be willing to use them to further their goals of global oppression.
We reafirm today our commitment to the destruction of the PUB and other such terrorist groups. We beleive our actions over the course of this war should prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are serious in this intent."

The vast air armada swept overhead. 70 planes flew in formation across the the troop transports as the invasion force began its landing operation. Below them a constant rain of ship-launched missiles bombarded the shores, inflicting massive casualties on Chilean forces scrambling to defend their country. It would not be a hard fight, and the pilots were confident that nothing could stop them given the lack of Chilean Fighter Planes.
The barrage of AA fire seemed to prove them wrong. in the opening moments alone 6 planes were sent spiralling to their doom. The scene repeated up and down the coast, with overconfident pilots having their formations wrecked by sudden storms of missiles and other shells fired from the ground. GUNS might control the Skies, but Chile had obviously not ignored the gaping hole in their defence the lack of an air force left. 70% of all air losses occured on the very first day, before the pilots even realised what they faced.
Considering GUNS is on top and not much can be done about it, and my increasing apathy with running this, and the fact I have coursework that takes precedence, I don't think it's too unreasonable to deem MP Dem Taqat's victory and move onto other projects.
Granted it looks like it will be my last game for a while but.

Try making it so that a country can't increase their economy ten fold in one turn. Annexing a country doesn't do that no matter how you look at it. Germany wasn't unstoppable when it took control of most of Europe, and the US economy won't double by annexing Canada today.

Also, I think he's trying to point out that annexing a nation via military might isn't exactly going to do wonders for your economy, and, in fact, having your economy triple in size from annexing a nation is a stupid idea.
