The Multipolar World (MP)

Tis quite ironic that the world ends in a British Empire on which the sun never sets ;)

That said the game could go on for one more turn since GUNS is not totally out of control, and certain methods could quite quickly put it (and the rest of the world) to rest.

It would literally take one turn to turn GUNS into an irradiated wasteland make the game balanced once more.

And then as they say we will be picking our way through the irradiated scraps with nothing more advanced than a stick in light of mutually assured destruction thanks to GUNS substantial nuclear potential (all it has to do is put all its income in PB's, and presto the world burns if anyone touches them).

Who knows, after its all done we may all end up worshipping a nuclear bomb as we hide out in the sewers of some long forgotten city, hiding from the warped beasts that rule the overworld :p

We're all moving to Joisey?

90% of the citizenry of the 501st Legion is capable of reaching an evacuation transport to take them off this rock within 15 minutes; our missile detection technology would give us a 20 minute window.

Should we be the victim of a nuclear strike, our lands may be rendered a barren, lifeless wasteland, but our people will survive.

lolwut?

Oh right. I guess it turns out Venezuela's nuking the Papal States. Splendid.

wut? When have I ever caused a nation to revolt?

Well, you're endorsing the USSR which was caused by those broken game mechanics.

Also, I think he's trying to point out that annexing a nation via military might isn't exactly going to do wonders for your economy, and, in fact, having your economy triple in size from annexing a nation is a stupid idea.

Yeah but since when have I cared about realism?

Really, I don't get why these same arguments for realism show up every single thread when it's quite obvious it was never my intention.

Wait

Make it happen. I'll finally have something to base my Fallout IOT on.

Well Tani, you should blame me for that, not Mosher.

I'm not blaming Mosher. I'm just saying that when he's taking advantage of unrealistic mechanics, it seems odd to be critiquing unrealistic mechanics. :p

Oh I forgot another big one. MAD would make half this game's events near impossible.

I'm not nuking them if the game's not ending.

Ah, but once you got those orders in, they locked, I'm afraid. :p

I let you have an exemption to the lock as your orders were not yet in and they did not take advantage of the new situations. (Ergo, they would be 100% fair and would not be a headache either)

I think it wouldn't be too fair to just let you change them due to a change in circumstances.

This isn't an in-game change in circumstances, it's literally the game changing circumstances. My WMDs were going to make the ending more entertaining. Now that it's not ending, I'd like to hang on to both them and my country.

I'm not arguing about realism, I'm arguing that your economy tripling after annexing a nation is stupid.

Very well I'll just declare all your orders null and void and automate you as if the lock had never been broken. That's my final ruling on the matter. :p

Venezuela = vicious aggressor :p

not that im really surprised, I jacked up SDI, espionage and various other things last turn suspectic something would happen, although I didn't know it would be you ;)
