The New Divine Intervention

Edit: Figured it out, never mind.

Not For Moshers Eyes:

Spoiler NFME :

-The Combined power of all wonders in the World affects the Fabrics of Space-Time? (All wonders must be destroyed, But can only be done with The Consent (help) of the mortals. We quest him to burn wonder cities, and demand that he destroys (allows us to WB out) all wonders in his cities.

-Disease amongst the Immortals, which causes them to turn to Insane genocidal killing. He must kill them all. (win by conquest) for some reason he doesn't have the disease (our protection? Strength of will? His origins?)

- A GIANT SPACE FLEA FROM NOWHERE! :p

DT
Thinking :hmm:

Spoiler :
Lets go Al Gore-Style Global Climate Change: It warms and cools at the same time! We will have mountains near the equator amass growing tundra/snow "glaciers" that can be destroyey by player action as the temperate belt turns into plains and desert as the tropics are covered by growing seas.

Spoiler NFME :
Yeah, that would work pretty well. It would be fun to predict crytically as well. :mischief: Everybody Wins! :D

Gazing into the Depths of Time

NFME:
Spoiler :
More barbs to haress him to.

Spoiler NFME :
Yeah. Populations getting decimated by growing deserts/glaceirs as smaller and smaller areas are suitable for habitation.

We have to start small, and base it off a count. Maybe base it off number of wonders built? (to go with Dem Teqat's Idea?) and use that as a base?

Spoiler NFME :
Base it off the Number of GIANT SPACE FLEAS FROM NOWHERE! :p

.........Yeah, wonders is probably a better Idea. We could use cities, (if the map has enough isolated islands) or technology, or possibly something to do with the Units on the map. If we were really unoriginal, we could try factories and powerplants, but I don't think anybody wants that do we? ;)

DT
Space-Time Gazing

NFME:
Spoiler :
Maybe something to do with the population of all the civs?

Spoiler NFME :
Ooooh! Someone must give Mosh sacraficial altars so he can sacrafice them to prevent Global Climate Change!
BTW, we then have to be careful not to kill too much off. also depends on number of tiles ingame. We want to affect about 50% 2/3 of the way through, and the last 50% for the last third of the game. (to make it look like its speeding up)

Radioactivity appearing in the middle of a growing desert? Mountains turning into 3 by 3 lakes with a radioactivevolcanic hill-island in the middle? Rivers turning into lakes or cities strangled by jungle? That is divine intervention for you!

All of this NFME makes me sad and feeling left out. :p

Whoever asked if they could join later, sure. But I'm going to be putting a cap of 15 gods so things don't get too out of hand.

Okay, here is a screenshot of the beginning and a save file - this is NOT the beginning, however. You can screw around with the start but no changes yet. :p

Darius, the youngest and so far only remaining member of the Persian Dynasty of his tiny tribe, slept in the grass. He was tossing and turning, dreaming of odd and terrifying things. In his mind, his subconcious conjured up images of firebreathing scaly beasts that glided through the air on massive, thin wings, of countless people falling through a crevice in the ground that appeared magically; and most terrifingly of all, the destruction of a massive grouping of buildings, majestic in their height, being crushed by a streaking star. And, as these dreams happened, a voice cut through the fog of his mind. "Young Darius, awake. Your destiny awaits..."

Darius awoke with a start, drawing his frightening-long dagger and jumping up.
"Who's there?" he snarled softly. Darius..., whispered the voice. He spun around, looking. One of his tribemates snored in his sleep. Darius growled, and spoke again. "Show yourself, you creeper!" The mysterious voice spoke once more. Darius. I am the Creator; you needn't know my names, any of the 72 of them. But you have a task ahead of you. If you accept my gift, you shall become an immortal leader of one of the greatest nations in the world; if you refuse, you shall die with the rest of your people. I digress; your quest, your task... your destiny. You must conquer the world or enter the vast reaches of space to a distant star called Alpha Centauri. You needn't know anything about it now, but be warned... now sleep, my son... sleep.
Darius collapsed without a second thought.
