As for the not-bazaar, a ghostgate should be easy to make, using simple arcology graphics you're a decent amount of the way there.
The ghostgate could offer less protection, but give culture.
 
When the time comes we could play with technologies, especially to reflect the... bizarre nature of IOTs.
 
Everyone heckle TK for a portrait pic because by God we need him in this and I will not tolerate half-assed stand-ins.

I'unno about Reus, but I haven't had time to work on anything. Hell, I haven't had time to complete the latest playtest.
 
If we are requesting civs from previous and ongoing IOT's I request that The Republic of Greater Australia and New Zealand be added. :D
 
If we're adding that Australia then we should also add the glorious Democratic People's Republic of Australia. ;)

I have two main criteria for game-specific countries: They have to be notable either within the game or within IOT lore, and they need a recognizable leader. So as much as I'd love to add Rhodesia, we a) know zilch about its leadership and b) have no portrait outside a stand-in, and I'm not keen on those.

That said, at the risk of starting a dibs war, if you find a worthy leaderhead in the downloads database I will use it. With that in mind, I call these.

So besides the lack of pictures for the Leaders of Greater Australia, I can still do it right.

Since we have currently 2 possible leaders for Greater Australia, PM David Walker and GG Peter Anderson

This is the closest I can think for my image of Peter Anderson but I would like this background if possible.

Just so y'all know a new revision's still in the works, here's a list of the changes planned for Revision 7-8:

  • Sexy new terrain graphics
  • New unit category for Covert Ops with unique promotion
  • Expanded naval line between tall ships and WWII-era
  • UU rebalances and UB revisions
  • Triforce World Project, requires Military and Science Academy

Stuph that may or may not get in next revision:

  • taillesskangaru's faction
  • Two new character factions and revision of Eastern Union's UU
  • Custom popup faction defeat messages

Stuph dependent on Reus

  • Indonesian voicepack
  • IOT XIV-inspired scenario

You'd basiclly need to make entirely new factions to represent every nation in the game, not to mention the reworked religions/corporations make no sense in the XIV world. This would be better off being a completely unique mod.

Also reiterating my disdain of character factions or really any factions besides the one each user was supposed to get.
 
Almost ready for new patch; tragically, the Python tweaks I'd planned are running into problems with BUG and the dev team's troubleshooting guide is completely inaccessible. Also, turns out World Projects don't work the way I thought.

I do have basic code laid out for tailless' faction; the Uniques are all Firaxis material at the moment. I have a bunch of new units that may end up reorganizing the tech tree to balance properly, but I still feel that this could use a bit more punch.

So, who wants Cossacks what player(s) not yet covered are people anxious to see? :cooool:
 
I've been putting this off for some time, but I wouldn't mind being included myself.
