Another thread and poll and greek affair (well, just to get away from the current pathos i guess).
Which monster of Greek mythology is your favorite?
Poll will be up soon. Options are:
-Cyclops.
One eyed monsters with barbaric ways that lived in small family-cell communities in an isolated island.
-Hydra Lernaia
The Hydra was a beast with multiple heads, said to have infested the town of Lerna, near Argos. It was defeated by Hercules, who had to cut all of the beast's heads and then use poison so that they would not regenerate.
-Medusa
The Medusa was a female monstrosity with a face that petrified anyone who saw it. It ended up being severed by the hero Perseus.
-Minotaur
Son of Pasiphae, the Minotaur (whose real name was Asterios, which is linked to the greek word for Star) dwelled in the labyrinth constructed by Daedalus, and every nine years devoured nine young men and women sent as tribute to king Minos, until he finally devoured Theseus's sword.
-Geryon
Geryon was according to some accounts a man with three heads, according to other accounts a man with three heads and three sets of limbs. He was always dressed in full hoplite attire, and lived in a small island past what would become the Herculean Gates (straits of Gibraltar). He finally was killed by the hero Hercules, who took his flock as well.
-Scylla and Charebde
Scylla and Charebde were two sea monsters, faced by Odysseus as he was trying to return to Ithaca. One was a gigantic whirlpool, the other a multi-headed monster. They appear to have been undead, and ate a lot of Odysseus's crew.
-Cerberus
Cerberus was the three-headed dog that guarded the underworld. In one of his labors Heracles had to wrestle with it, and finally won.

There are many other monsters that can be mentioned, but i wanted to have 7 choices, 7 being a divine number for ancient Greeks. You can select others of course, mention them and why you prefer them
Btw i voted for Scylla:
