BTW, if you need them, I also made a Heavy hover tank (the Galbadian Iron Clad or BGH251F2), a Tesla Tank, Hovering Artillery droid (a.k.a Yevon YAT-97), Death Machine Mecha, the Makou Cannon (HUGE city sized ray gun that's for immobile defense placements), and Ork Looted Leman russ tanks that I did.... If there was something you liked, but was the wrong color, just PM me, and I can make a different colored version (I still have all the model and animation files for these units on my computer)
 
Yes, The Galbadian Elite soldier looked very good in game. The sounds sync up nicely to the animations. He has been labeled as a "Doom Guard" for The Legion of Doom civ and fills in the power armor infantry unit line nicely.

I already had the Tesla tank in the "to add unit folder" and after going back through your unit library I added the Makou Cannon to the folder as well. I may be able to find a spot for the arty droid too. The rest are a little too far on the fantasy side for what I have in mind for the mod.

Is your Z-95 Headhunter actually a X-wing model? The X-wing That I have the attack A file is corrupt and won't open. Plus, I love your attackC flc(roll). The game only uses attack A for air units right? So, if I want that attack in game I have to move that to the A position in the unit ini file correct? If you could re-color your Z-95 white and have the wings or foils open for the attack flc that would be perfect. If it's possible.
 
The Z-95 headhunter looks sorta like an X-wing, but has only two wings and lasers instead of four... It was produced near the end of the Clone wars by Incom, and was the immediate predecessor to the X-wing (One of the first 3D PC games I played was Lucas Arts' X-wing and TIE Fighter, not to mention I'm a big Star Wars fan)....

So basically, what I'm saying is that it might be close enough for government work (basically, my animation has it fire dual proton torps, twin linked lasers and single laser shots)... Depends on if what you want absolutely positively HAS to be an X-wing.....

But no, I downloaded a Z-95 model off the Star Wars Modeling Alliance website... Although I believe I may have an X-wing model I got from 3D Cafe lying around somewhere on my HD....
 
Oh, please, would you do it, Hikaro? (scifi3d.com has really good sci-fi models for free, maybe a better X-wing) A decent 3d one was made recently, but it would be nice to have an unbuggy one, :).
 
@Stormrage - To me Metal Gear Ray is more monster than Mech soooooo no, no Metal Gear Ray.

@ Hikaro - It doesn't have to be an exact X-wing, this is an original storyline after all. I just thought it would be a good upgrade line to go from the Z-95 to an X-wing type craft.

Well, it shouldn't be too hard... All I have to do is load the X-wing model into my Z-95 HH files, and scale it so that it matches the HH in size, then make the HH invisible and parent the X-wing to it (I'll have to modify the laser attack animations, but that's no big deal there), then re- render it (basically, linking the X-wing model to the Z-95 means that the X-wing will do whatever the Z-95 is doing, saving me the work of re-animating the whole thing).
 
@ Stormrage - He just seems too....how do I put it... Alive. The way his tail wags,the way he runs, the way he arches his head back and screeches. It reminds me of something out of a Godzilla movie.

Problem: I need some units to come into play under one Tech but their weapon type doesn't come in untill a later tech is researched.:hmm:

Solution: Learn how to cut and past unit flc's. How does this look?:D

That cloud(shadow) was put there by the unit creator,it's linked to the red eye. I guess I could edit that out as well if people think it looks odd. ;)
 
I highly anticipate this scenario.. lol very interesting.. remind me of the MMOFPS by SOE.. "PlanetSide" except the ground isnt orange.. but thats still awsome ;)
