The Playground Mod: The Hall Monitors

Part 17: *Yawn*

About 20 turns of practically nothing. The only reason I'm posting this as its own section is for a transition to the excitement and anti-bordeom that will soon follow.

Basica summary of what happened:
-Hooked up the inspiration resource.
-Killed alot of barbarians.
-Built a massive army of Teachers.
-Had one of my useless cities destroyed by Barbarians.
-Char and Horse declared war. I'll be staying out of this, cause I have no way to get to them.
-The kids built some stuff.
-Freak Attack failed to declare war on anyone..... Why can't the AI be an aggressive psychopath when I want it to be one?

FA isn't declaring war on everyone because they aren't that stupid. :p

Part 18: Das Blitz!

Omega was still fighting in the mountains. Even with the support of the Teachers and informers that had come to help, more and more Barbarians kept coming. During a short lull in the fighting, Omega was checking up on the recent events on the Playground. One particular city caught his eye....

Omega: "Irene, we'be built an airport in Boy Fort?"
Irene: "Yes sir. We finished it this morning."
Omega: "Very good. Start airlifting soldiers to it. Mobilize the soldiers at the south entrance. And get me into contact with Chris."
Irene: "Yes sir."

*Senso City*

Chris was sitting in his desk, flanked by two nondescript guards, at the very top of his Tower of Doom. In front of him was a TV Screen, which currently showed Principal Omega.

Chris: "What do you want, Omega?"
Omega: "Chris! So good to see you! How are you? I've heard that you've got the highest grades in the School! Good job!"
Chris: "Thank you. But I don't think you'd just be calling me to say that."
Omega: "Oh, right, the reason I called. I'm declaring war."
Chris: "What? Why?"
Omega: "Because I don't like your army's uniforms. Orange? What sort of a color is orange? I mean, look at Freak Attack's uniforms, or the Boy Union's uniforms! Those are awesome outfits! But your's? It just looks stupid!"
Chris: "You're declaring war on us..... Because you don't like our outfits?"
Omega: "Yup. We'll start killing you pretty soon. Goodbye."

Chris: "So it appears Omega has actually gone completely insane.... Time to mobilize the troops."
Chris pressed a button on his desk, and the TV screen turned on again, this time showing a man in a Senso General's uniform, inside a military barracks.
Chris: "Good morning, Sam. Have you gotten word of what's happened?"
Sam: "I have, sir. We've already had to withdraw our HQ, to get out of the way of their advance."
Chris: "What? How close have they gotten to the capital?"
Sam: "Well, a pictures worth a thousand words, so here."

Chris: "WHAT? They're already almost at the capital! How'd they move so fast?"
Sam: "They've been massing soldiers on the border for months, so they have plenty of manpower. I'm not sure we'll be able to beat them, sir."
Chris: "No, we still can. If we hold them off, and stretch their lines, like what happened with Freak Attack, we might be able to get a truce. Just try and hold them off."
Sam: "Yes sir."

*A Few Days Later*

Sam: "Chris.... Remember that order you gave me to try and hold the Teachers off?"
Chris: "Yes?"
Sam: "Well...."

Chris: "Oh god.... They're almost right on top of us.... How close are they to this city?"
Sam: "Right outside it."
Chris: "...... We're all gonna die, aren't we?"
Sam: "Yup."
Chris: "Okay then. Well, I'll get my ax. I'll try to take some down with me...."

As the Teacher's advanced into the city, killing any enemy's in their path, Chris charged at them, screaming at the top of his lungs. Every Teacher fired their rifle at him. He was dead before he hit the ground.

Senso Casualties: Everything
Teacher Casualties: 2 Informers and 1 Traitorous Kid.

:wow:

That's 69 units over the limit...

Maybe the teacher's have too many money giving stuff or the units don't cost enough upkeep.

yep thats school allright happens ever year during standerized testing tisk. tisk.

Well, yeah. You're supposed to do that.

Ah well. Guess we'll have to leave it as that...

And check back at the regular thread. I need more info for 2.0. I'm done with most everything else, just the city names, tech costs for the barbarians, and the MGLs and SGLs.

It looks like the BU is getting over run by GWC in the pic. And Char by Horse.

How are they really doing?

Part 18: Operation DEATH TO PUNY CHILDRENS!!!!

Irene: "Omega, I have some bad news."
Omega: "What is it?"
Irene: "You know about the Nintendo 64?"
Omega: "Yeah...."
Irene: "Well, the Rebs have somehow gotten a one into the Playground, and are playing it instead of doing work."

Omega: "Where'd they get the electricity to power that in the middle of a Playground?"
Irene: "I don't know sir."
Omega: "Well, it must be stopped! We can't have our youth being corrupted by violent video games!"
Irene: "What do you recommend to stop it?"
Omega: "Excessive amounts of violence! Gather the troops!"

*The Kremlin, in Reb Camp*

Austin and 3 of his generals are all playing on an N64, completely entranced by the videogamenessicity. As they play, another general bursts through the door, waving a piece of paper and shouting at the top of his lungs.

Austin: "Matthew, quiet down! I'm trying to win.... Go forth, Mario, and overthrow the capatalistic oppressors...."
Matthew: "But sir! The Teacher's have declared war!"
Austin (Not looking away from the game): "What? Why?"
Matthew: "According to their message, we must stop playing violent video games on our N64, and give the N64 to the Teachers, or else they'll come and kill us all."
Austin: "Violent games? We're playing Mario Party! How's that violent?"
Matthew: "I don't know, sir, but I've recieved word that the Staff is gathering an army on our borders."
Austin: "Okay, then we'll have to stop them! Prepare for.... Oh, it's my turn! Matthew, go and deal with that thing.... I'll be there once this game's over...."

And then, something terrible happened. Something that made grown Teacher's fall on the ground and cry. Something that made Principle Omega himself cry in sheer emotional agony.

Omega: "How dare they! I wanted to do that! GALAXY WARS CLUB MUST DIE!!!!!!!!! Irene, launch an invasion immediantly!"
Irene: "Sir.... We don't have any ways to get to their island...."
Omega: "Launch an invasion anyways! They must DIE!!!!!!!!"
Irene: "Sir.... I know your upset, and how you wanted to kill the Boy Union and all that, but if you wait a few more days, until we've finished researching paratroopers, and have built a sufficently large force with which to attack, then we could destroy them...."
Omega: "Fine.... *Sniff*"

Omega: "Irene! We've done it! Can we kill them now!"
Irene: "No, Omega..... Now we have to actually recruit the paratroopers...."
Omega: "But I want to kill children!"
Irene: "Well, our forces in the south have slaughtered uncountable amounts of Rebs without any casualties, if that makes you feel any better."
Omega: "A little....."
Irene: "Good. We'll have a large enough force to invade soon enough."

*Back at the Kremlin*

After days of nonstop playing, Austin's eyes are bloodshot red. His skin is extremely pale, and he doesn't smell very nice. But he's still obsessed with the shining screen in front of him.

Outside, Teacher commandos are preparing to storm the Kremlin. They kick open the door, and rush in. They search the place, room by room, finding it devoid of life, until they reach the N64 room. Inside, they find Austin, still in playing, and the three generals who had originally been playing with him. All three of them have collapsed from hunger and thirst, but were still trying to play. Without warning, Austin jumped in the air, shouting, "I won! I won!"
Then he turned around and saw the Teachers.
Austin: "Hey, when'd you get here?"
Bang.
